"Jungkook! what is this? I told you to contact the developer before coming here" Mr Kim walked inside Jungkook room angrily. His anger rise up yo see taehyung here.

"Dad calm down. He is on work break" taehyung tries.

"I told him to do this before coming here. When will you people learn to seperate professional and personal life" Mr Kim throw the paper in the floor. He is very very pissed.

"Dad behave!" Taehyung did not like his boyfriend being disrespected in front of the family. He forgot before that Jungkook is his fathers employe.

"I can't believe this! I've given you numerous warnings about your negligence and yet, here we are again" Mr Kim yelled in anger.

"I know I messed up. But I was swamped with other projects and I couldn't keep up"

"That's no excuse. You need to prioritize your tasks and communicate with me if you're feeling overwhelmed. Your negligence has cost us a valuable client and I won't stand for it any longer"

"I understand, and I take full responsibility for my actions. What can I do to make it right?"

"It's going to take more than just words. I'm going to have to take disciplinary action" Mr Kim walked out angrily. Taehyung followed his father to stop him. How dare his dad embarrass his boyfriend like that in a family event.

Jungkook look down in shame even he walked out feeling embarrassed. He sat near the lawn watching birds at the fountain. Jimin came to him smiling.

Jungkook stood there, seething, his hands clenching and unclenching at his sides. Jimin hurriedly placed a soothing hand on his friend's shoulder, trying to pacify him.

"Jungkook, calm down. It's okay..." Jimin advised, his voice soft and comforting.

"That old man thinks he has the free pass to embarrass me" Jungkook gritted out through clenched teeth, his eyes flashing with ire.

"Jungkook, they are elder than you" Jimin persisted, his hand rubbing gentle circles on Jungkook's back. "You have to respect them"

"Why should I?" Jungkook snapped, an infuriated 'tsk' leaving his lips, "When that man doesn't know how to respect me?"

"He is running such a huge company Jungkook- losing a client must cost him much. Just apologize to him" Jimin encouraged, his tone growing firm in his resolve to make Jungkook see reason.

"What? Jimin, are you mad?" Jungkook exclaimed, disbelief coloring his tone. "I won't apologize to anyone, you know that"

"He is your elder, Jungkook. Just do this once, he is going to be your father in law soon" Jimin pleaded, hoping to see through to reason.

"Apologising someone is not me jimin. Jeon Jungkook has standards"

"You won't lose anything asking a simple sorry jungkook. And more over they are not some random people. He is your family"

"Jimin, still he is my boss that man think like that. He won't test me like his family" Jungkook kicked the pebble.

"You change it jungkook. You apologise once and see what happens. Some gesture just brings everything together. It has the power to nurture all relation. If you want taehyung just do it for him" jimin convince.

Don't know what it is jungkook felt like listening to Jimin once and to apologise to his boss for his misbehaviour. Maybe it was just one of those days where everything seemed off, and turning off his arrogance was the only solution.
