"You're really bad at making eggs, you know that right?" Jiyun spoke as she peeked over his shoulders at his masterpiece — what was supposed to be a sunny side up seemed more like a horror story now.

"I wanted to cook something for you," Mark replied, dejected. A pout formed on his lips as he placed the poorly done egg on the plate. She giggled, taking the plate and placing it on the countertop.

Jiyun patted his head and giving him a quick peck to his lips. "In that case, you did fine. It's the thought that counts right?" The two settled next to each other by the countertop. A bottle of orange juice on the table for each of them, paired with a plate of failed eggs that Mark had made.

It was quiet in the dorm, all of his members living with him had went back to their own homes to stay for the holidays. The mixed laughter from the two was the only sound that resonated throughout the place, warm and genuine. It was always like this with Jiyun, Mark always felt overjoyed whenever he was with her. Love and endearment filled his heart and warming his body.

He opened his bottle of orange juice before noticing the girl's one still unopened. Instinctively, he reached out to grab it and opened it for her. Jiyun looked up from her phone, just when he had place the opened bottle in front of her. Her lips stretched into a smile, heart skipping a beat at how he always noticed the smallest details.

"Thanks, I could have done it myself you know? I'm an independent woman."
"It's fine. I like doing things for you."

Her words were caught in her throat, a blush creeping up her cheeks. Instead of replying, she stuffed her mouth with food and pretended to busy herself with her phone. Mark chuckled from beside her at how flustered she was. He brought his hand up to move her hair away from touching her food, securing the strands behind her ears.

Her ears and cheeks  further deepened in shade. "You're so cute." He commented, a toothy grin on his face as he looked at the flushed girl.

"I love you, yun."
"I love you too, markie."

Haerin was sprawled out on Chaewon's bed, lazing while scrolling through her feed. Chaewon and Jiyun was sat on the floor beside it, playing super smash bros on the television.

"Jiyun prevails once again! Loser," Jiyun jumped just when the screen showed her winning character. She made an L shape with her fingers and taunted the latter. Chaewon groaned in frustration at another loss, mumbling the words 'cheater' and 'show off' under her breath.

"Guys, I'm bored. Can we watch the new dream content together or something?" Haerin asked, putting her phone down and turning on her side to look at them.

"Sure. I'm tired of playing smash, Jiyun keeps winning because she grinds this game everytime she is free," Chaewon complained while Jiyun snickered at her.
"I've simply mastered my craft."

Haerin got up from the bed, walking up to the television and connecting her laptop to it. She played the latest episode of 7llin in the dream before heading back to the bed again and laying on her stomach.

It was peaceful at first, the three just watching the group of 7 being chaotic and laughing at their jokes. There was a dull throb at the back of Jiyun's head as the video continued on, one which she could ignore. She placed her full focus on the video in front of her, ignoring the sensations in her head.

"Who is that?" Jiyun asked pointing to the blue haired boy that appeared on the screen. She still couldn't shake away the fact that he felt somehow familiar to her, like she knew him.

"Oh him? That's Mark Lee," Chaewon replied, glancing to the girl beside her before putting her attention back to the screen.

"Why? Is he going to be your bias now?"
"Mhm...I guess you could say that."

"To this person, I hope that you will try to open up more to us. As the eldest, you face a lot of burdens. If you've been hurting, we want to be your strength as well just like how you've always been for us. We don't know your story well but I really hope that you can get over whatever heartbreak you are facing although we joke about it a lot." The heartfelt words flowed from the speakers as they were doing their heart to heart talk session.

The campfire illuminated their faces, it was clear that the message was dedicated towards Mark. A tear had slipped from his eye to which he threw his head back to wipe away the remnants of it. Jiyun frowned, her heart aching for reasons she didn't know of. She didn't even know who he was.

"Oh that's sad."
"Mark for sure has a girlfriend."
"For real, there is no way he doesn't."

Jiyun's lips formed a thin line, the painful throb in her head becoming more prominent and disturbing. She sighed, leaning her head back against the bed to get some form of relieve. Her eyes closed shut in irritation, no longer focussing on the video that played on the screen.

"Hey Jiyun? Are you okay?"
"Yeah, I'm fine. Just a little headache," she replied, opening her eyes and glancing at the concerned girls. Jiyun flashed them a smile to reassure them before turning her head back to the screen.

"Dude you need to stay anywhere but the kitchen."
"Noo but I want to cook for you guys." The bickering from the group filled the air. Mark reading through the recipe while Chenle tried to push him away and out of that place. This time, a sharp pain striked through Jiyun's head as her ears rung which made her wince in pain.

"I wanted to cook something for you." A deep voice sounded through her mind. A vague, contorted figure standing in front of a stove in a place that she was not familiar with. Jiyun knew it was her amnesia acting up, she often got these moments where jumbled up memories just surfaced in her mind, especially back when she was trying to gain back her memories of her family.

They all just needed a trigger and it seemed like Mark had something to do with that.
