"Nah there is no way, bro is definitely shitting us right now," Chaewon retorted. "I'm heading straight towards my doom, what a way to die."

"You guys really don't have a single bit of trust in me at all."
"I told you it's because whatever you say is unbelievable or too good to be true."

Despite their constant bickering, Chaewon and Haerin still continued to follow Jiyun who guided the way. Walking past a hallway and directly towards the security guard stationed right by the door that leads further inside to the waiting rooms.

The security guard cleared his throat, eyeing the three girls up and down in an effort to scan their appearance. "What are you three doing here? No fans are allowed inside," he spoke with a firm tone.

"Uh you see...I know Mark! You know Mark right? Mark Lee," Jiyun nervously chuckled, her mind blanking out as she gulped down the lump in her throat under the guard's cold stare. Digging through her bag for the ticket, she cursed as she couldn't find it. "Oh my fucking gosh, bro is gonna kill me."

"I am not buying that, please leave through the exit at the other end of the hall."
Chaewon grabbed Jiyun's wrist to pull her in the other way, "we should leave Jiyun, why would we even have access to the backstage anyways."

"We really appreciate you for getting the tickets for us, you don't have to do this much," Haerin spoke, smiling at her gratefully. "Seeing them backstage is really far-fetched anyways, I don't think even the black market can-" Her words got cut off when the door to the waiting room opened and the guard stepped aside to let whoever emerge out.

"Yo is that you yun? I could hear you from miles away," Mark's voice spoke as he peeked through the gap between the doors that he had created. Eyes lighting up when he caught sight of her, opening the door wider to step out.

"Hey Markie!" Jiyun exclaimed, excitement bubbling in her at the sight of the boy after a whole month of not seeing him. "Can you please tell them that you gave me the tickets and I didn't sell them to the devil to get it," Jiyun scurried over, cowering behind him as if her two friends were monsters.

"No way.."
"This must be some lucid dream.."

They were both frozen in place as they blinked at the idol before them and the amused smile on Mark's face as he looked at Jiyun. He awkwardly scratched the back of his neck, giving her friends a polite smile. "Haha yeah...I got her the tickets but I didn't expect my manager to give ones that were so close to the stage," Mark clarified.
