There was one week left to the dream world tour, over the span of the month it had became a routine for Mark to call Jiyun in the early mornings when she is having dinner. Despite being tired from concerts, he never fails to pick up every call that came in the mornings.

Jiyun was concerned about whether he got enough rest but as Mark always says "don't worry, you give me the energy I need," which wasn't a lie.

Mark did feel happy and contented to simply talk to her, listening to her voice felt like something he would cherish forever. He felt like he couldn't breathe from how overwhelming it felt to actually have Jiyun there to converse with. His one-sided calls was like a fever dream compared to where he was now.

"Did you ever know anything about what happened to me during the incident?" Jiyun suddenly questioned when she mentioned her parents. "They never actually told me anything about it, but I've always thought that it was because they didn't want me to remember such a tragic thing," she added.

Mark thought about it for a moment, humming while thinking back to the past. "Actually I don't really know, all they told me was that you were on your way to the cafe that we always go to when you got into the accident," Mark replied, pressing his lips into a thin line. "I know they got my company involved with the police about it but I was never informed about anything then the next thing I knew you guys moved back to Canada."

"Oh you didn't see me at all?"
"I saw you when you first woke up then whenever I tried to see you again your parents kind of refused me," Mark sighed, dragging a hand over his face. "It was really hard for me back then, I remember having a comeback at that time and being so busy while worrying about you at the same time. Then the next thing I knew when my schedules were finally free was that you left the country."

"Oh I see," Jiyun hummed in understanding, frowning from the guilt she felt. "You must have been like really really devastated when I left then."

"Yeah, never again. I could barely find my will to go on with my life back then and I had no one to confide to since no one even knew about us," Mark spoke, shuddering at the memory of one of his darkest times. "But it's okay, at least you're here talking to me now right?" He lifted his tone, trying to uplift the sombre mood.

"And you aren't getting rid of me this time," Jiyun added, the corner of her lips tilting upwards at how Mark never blamed her for anything that happened.

"Oh yeah right! Dude I almost forgot, you know I'm coming back next week right," he spoke, a cheerful ring to his voice. "Anyways we are having the finale show to our tour back in Korea so I was wondering if you wanted tickets to come watch?"
