The place was fully decorated with streamers and balloons of different shapes and sizes were pasted along the walls. The nintendo set-up in the living room with the couches neatly aligned to face the television. The soft LED lights gave the room a unique touch, amplifying the cosy vibes of the party.

Jiyun had booked one of those venues dedicated just for hosting birthday parties. With the joint efforts of Haerin and Chaewon they managed to set the place up in a minimalist manner.

"Just sit down Jiyun, leave it to us. The birthday girl shouldn't be setting up her own party," Haerin nagged pointedly, pushing her towards the couch.

Restless, Jiyun couldn't just simply sit still. "I'm worried, what it ends up being awkward. Oh my goodness maybe it was a bad idea to have everyone I'm close to gather together," she voiced out in rapid speed.

That was what had her troubled, the potential chance of Hyunki not getting along with the idols. It might have been rather trivial but she still continued to overthink every single scenario that could happen.

"Chill Jiyun, we will handle it alright. We've met Hyunki before and he is an outgoing guy I'm sure he will easily become friends with them. Didn't you say Haechan was coming too? They have practically the same personalities," Chaewon stated, trying to get her to think logically.

Jiyun was still unconvinced, simply shrugging her shoulders. Instead of sitting down like what they had instructed her to do, she got up and continued to busy herself just to stop herself from overthinking.

In all honesty, it was going way better than what Jiyun had expected, even better than the best case scenarios she had imagined. It was easy for Hyunki and Haechan to become close, as expected. They were fighting over the mario kart game on screen, battling it off and cheating subtly when they thought the other wasn't looking.
