-chapter twenty four-

"I STILL CANNOT BELIEVE THEY WANT TO GIVE US OUR OWN DOCUMENTARY." Layla said turning her head to face Tim.

He sighed softly pulling her back onto his chest. "This, is the conversation starter you go with after sex?"

Layla slapped his chest blushing. "Yes, it is because we start filming tomorrow."

Tim looked down at her before shaking his head. "Yeah and these guys are ridiculous. Trust me I would know. They're invasive, don't like personal space and they don't mind controversial topics. But if at any point in time you want to stop the interview say the word and I'll have them gone."

Layla gave him a smile reaching up to peck his lips. "You really love me don't you?" She spoke teasingly.

Tim chuckled softly before he flipped them over ending on top of her. Wrapping her arms naturally around his neck.

"Oh, more than you think."

Layla sat down in the chair set out for her as someone began touching up her face. "Sorry, I'm really nervous."

"You should be, because this is your first time." The producer said. "But I'm sure you'll be great."

She then began chuckling awkwardly. "It's my first time and I'm getting my own documentary. This is crazy." Layla paused before she straightened herself out. She looked around.

"Uh, where's Tim?"

"We thought it would be best to interview you alone first. It'll be more vulnerable, since you're like a rookie and all. Then we can interview Tim." Layla nodded an okay before they began.

"So how did you first meet Jake Butler?"

Layla thought back on the day. "Well my training officer Nolan was away doing union rep work so I was tasked by sergeant Grey to help around the station. I first met him after Tim and the others brought him in for questioning."

"Which brings us to the elephant in the room."

She nodded. "Yeah the whole look alike thing. It was like two different versions of the same person. Except Dim, sorry Jake, had the beer belly and tattoos." Layla spoke.
