'Launch!'
As [Y/N] lit the gunpowder, a guard grabbed her by her hair, yanking her back with brutal force. She let out a cry of pain, but the firework still launched, and the signal shot up into the sky. Two guards held her firmly, their grip bruising, as they all stared at the explosion. "What was that?" one of the guards muttered, his eyes wide with disbelief.
The girl, despite the pain and the grip of the guards, looked up at the sky, her [E/C] eyes reflecting the burst of light. "It launched!" she whispered, a mix of relief and triumph in her voice.
Elsewhere on the sea, multiple ships loaded with drugs were burning, the flames licking the night sky. Mike climbed up on the edge of the boat, squinting into the distance. "It's far," he said, his voice strained. "We need to go! Now!"
Still engaged in fierce combat, Levi glanced back. "Eld, Oluo, Petra, come!" he shouted, urgency in his tone. The group tried using their 3D gear, but panic set in as they realized it wasn't working. "Boss, it's not working!" Eld shouted, his voice tinged with fear.
"Mine's jammed too!" Petra added, her hands fumbling with the controls.
Oluo cursed under his breath. "We're sitting ducks here!"
Mike, attempting to remain calm, tried his gear and found it working. "Mine's operational!" he called out. The Underboss' mind raced, analyzing their options. "Mike, you and I will go. The rest of you, stay here and hold the line. We'll get to that ship," he ordered, his voice firm.
[Y/N] laid face down on the wooden floor of the deck, one of Viktor Klebb's men pressing his boot into her back. "Are you working with the mafia too? You and the other man slipped in with the other goods, didn't you?!" he demanded, his voice dripping with accusation.
One of the men beside him flinched in realization. "Then that firework..." He looked up at the sky. "They signaled this ship's location to their allies?" The man grabbed [Y/N] by the hair again, yanking her head back painfully. His sword pressed against her neck, and she winced, her eyes squeezing shut. "Is that what you did?" he snarled.
"Kill them quickly, before the rest come!" another guard urged, his voice tinged with panic.
Lying on the floor and incapacitated, Armin shouted desperately, "Don't!" His face was dirty and scratched, his eyes wide with fear. "You can take my arms or head, or anything else you want, but don't touch [Y/N]—" The guard's boot came down on the blond's head, silencing him with brutal force. Face planted against the floor, Armin struggled, using all his strength to lift his head and look at [Y/N]. His vision blurred with pain, but his eyes remained fixed on her, filled with despair. The guard raised his sword, preparing to decapitate the [H/C] haired woman. But her eyes remained closed, her breath hitching as the blade drew nearer. "No!" Armin yelled, his voice breaking.
Suddenly, something dropped down from the sky with a forceful impact, taking out several officers in one swift motion. [Y/N]'s eyes snapped open, and she saw Underboss Levi. He moved with deadly precision, his feet creating a powerful gust of wind that knocked down more soldiers. She looked at him in awe, her face dirty and streaked with grime. Her heart pounded in her chest, a mix of relief and admiration flooding her senses. Levi, with his back turned to her, spoke in a low, praising tone. "I can't believe you." He turned around, smirking. "You actually did it."
"Levi!" she exclaimed, her voice filled with a mix of disbelief and joy.
The guards recoiled, recognizing him. "Y-You're Levi Ackermann, the Underboss of the Survey Corps!" one stammered.
