"What are you doing here, Malfoy?" Harry asked harshly with a glare the second Draco Malfoy appeared outside of our compartment. Ron followed suit with a glare, and Hermione and myself locked eyes with our mouths hanging open. This is the last person I expected to see knocking on our door.
Malfoy looked each one of us up and down with disgust, and said crassly, "I just needed to pull Gooden for a moment, if you don't mind."
"Well, we do mind Malfoy," Ron said defensively. "Why do you need to pull her anyways?"
"Yeah, what are you talking about?" I cut in. I have never been more confused in my life. Draco Malfoy and I have hardly interacted in all of the four years of school that we have attended together. Our limited interactions consisted of him being mean to my friends, or them retaliating. He and I have never personally fought, except for when I defend my friends. But even then- there is absolutely no reason that he would need to speak to me.
"Come with me." Malfoy said gripping my arm and walking out the door. Ouch. He actually has a strong grip. Is this really necessary? Same Malfoy as always. At least I know some things never change. Plus, if I really need to, I could easily get away. My summer training is still fresh in my mind.
"Hey!" Hermione called out behind us as we walked down the train car.
"Shut it mudblood, I'll have her back in one piece." Draco hissed back at her.
I shot her a look to let her know that I could handle myself, but she didn't look entirely convinced as we walked away. I could see her go back into the compartment, but I know my friends well enough that if I'm gone too long they'll come find me. That's reassuring, I suppose.
We walk through about three different train cars. I can't believe he took me away from my friends. I haven't seen them all summer, and now their absolute worst enemy comes and snatches me away for no reason. He is so infuriating. Sometimes I just want to punch him in the-
"Get in." Malfoy said and lightly pushed me into a compartment with the boys that I know to be Draco's friends. Their names are Crabbe, Goyle, and Blaise? I think? I'm not too sure about the last one. I also don't know if those are their first or last names. I try not to concern myself with them all that much.
I walk into the compartment and look at them, uncomfortably. "Hey guys." I greet them. I guess if I'm here I had better try to be nice. They all grumbled "hello"s back to me. Malfoy sat down while I just stood awkwardly in the compartment. Silence fell upon it while we all looked at eachother expectantly.
After a few moments of awkward silence, I decided that I have had enough and sarcastically said, "Well, lovely to visit with you guys but I'll be going then," while turning toward the door.
Before I could leave, Malfoy pulled out his wand and cast a locking charm on the door so that I couldn't get out. Like come on, seriously? This is so lame.
"Really Malfoy? If you aren't going to let me leave, care to tell me what I'm here for?" I snapped at him.
He looked at me with amusement and gestured at the seat across from him, "Well sit down," he said.
I looked over each of the boys for a moment, and decided that this wasn't a threatening meeting, no matter how strange it was. I took the seat across from Malfoy and waited for him to speak. He didn't immediately speak, so I glanced around the compartment for any potential threats. Trained like a true demigod. I didn't see anything threatening, but what I did see was a big pile of candy that Crabbe and Goyle were eating.
Shoot, I guess the trolly already hit them. I hope I don't miss ours. Just as Malfoy finally began speaking I asked, "Do you mind if I have one of your chocolate frogs?"
