Flirting with the enemy

After Monday morning I stay on top of my game. I still haven't been sleeping enough, but that's okay. I have been meeting with my Professors and working overtime on everything with school.

I got up early again and did my makeup and straightened my hair. I even had a watch sent from Mrs. Weasley so I can really stay on top of everything. I was feeling good.

I had even noticed myself getting more lingering glances as I walked through the halls. Ever since I decided to take control of my life I really started to glow. And yes, I mean literally glow. Just a tiny bit. Thanks to my dad that is. Everyone else will just think I'm looking great, but I know the truth.

I went through my morning classes, preparing to meet some of the Inquisitorial Squad in the library at common hour. I had avoided all of them other than Theo, who I spoke to several times since yesterday. What can I say, he was fun to flirt with.

It helped me forget about Leo. Who I also hadn't spoken to.

And if it gets Pansy off my back for wanting her man, then I really can't complain. It was just a bonus that it seemed to get on Draco's nerves, though I wasn't sure why.

I arrived at the library early, seeing only Theo there, seated toward the back. I sat down across from him.

"Hey, Theo," I said, brushing my hair off my shoulder.

"Lilia." He smiled. He had a stunning smile. "Glad you could make it."

"Where's everybody else?" I ask.

"They're coming." He replied, "What, scared to be alone with me?"

"I was going to ask you the same question." I flirted, smiling and leaning back in my chair.

He laughs, shaking his head. "So, you gonna come on Friday?"

"Like I said," I smirk, "if you're lucky."

Draco and Pansy approach us, holding hands. I looked over them momentarily, making eye contact with Draco, before turning back to Theo.

"What kind of party is this, exactly?" I ask, leaning toward him.

"Oh, you know. Everyone legal is probably going to get some fire whiskey. The usual." He leans toward me, "Wait. You are legal, aren't you?"

"Well-"

"She's not." Draco replies for me.

"Two months." I say, glaring at him.

"Shame," Theo replies, "Would love to have a drink with you. But I suppose you can still come and hang around anyways."

"You can't invite her." Pansy seethes.

The rest of the Squad starts sitting around the table.

"Why not?" Theo asks, "Your boyfriend will be on Prefect duty, if that's what you're worried about."

Pansy sits up straight, face going red, before Draco whispers something to her that makes her relax. I avoid looking at either of them, and instead smirk at Theo. I like his energy.

The meeting begins, and Millicent announces that she heard that Harry has found a room with a disappearing door.

"A disappearing door?" I laugh, "In the castle? Don't you think we would know if there was such a room."
