Draco and I were sitting up against a wall, leg to leg, laughing about how I tricked Pansy into screaming that I'm a bitch outside of the common room.
"She was definitely drunk." He says, chuckling.
"Oh totally, she wreaked of fire whiskey." I laughed, leaning into him.
We sat there, leaning on eachother lightly, listening to the silence of the castle.
I rested my head on his shoulder, and he rested his head on top of mine. Out of the new friends I've made this year, Draco was easily my favorite. Moments like these meant everything to me. It almost felt like being at home, with Leo.
"Next time I go to one of those parties, you'd better be there." I say.
"Next time? You're counting on another invite, eh?" He asks, teasingly.
"Oh yeah," I smirk, "Theo definitely has a thing for me."
"How could he not?" Draco asks, in a sarcastic tone.
"Shut up." I say, smacking him in the chest.
I check my watch, realizing it's past midnight.
"Hey," I nudge him, gesturing to my watch.
He hums in acknowledgment, but neither of us move.
"Draco?" I ask, yawning.
"Hm."
"Wanna sleepover?" I joke, giggling, remembering the night that I asked that the last time.
"Yeah." He says, not laughing.
"Wait," I sit up to look him in the eyes. "Actually?"
He shrugs, "Yeah, why not? You've been in my common room so why not show me yours."
"You're being serious?" I ask.
"What?" He asks, "Friends have sleepovers all the time in the muggle world, don't they?"
I laugh, "Yeah. But usually not boys and girls."
"Muggles are weird." He says, shrugging,
standing and walking toward the portrait of the Fat Lady.I checked around me, making sure all of the other portraits were sleeping (so they would have nothing to gossip about), before standing up and reciting the password to the Fat Lady.
The portrait swings open, and I take Draco's hand and lead him through the door, checking the common room before leading him to one of the couches in front of the fireplace.
We laid on two separate couches, but we talked up until the moment that both of us fell asleep.
I only woke up when I heard a faint whisper, "You've got to go. Before someone catches you." And shuffling of feet.
I was still half asleep, and couldn't process what was happening until I felt a hand run through my hair and a voice say, "Lils, get upstairs before Hermione notices."
I open my eyes to Ginny, stroking my head. She has a small smile on her face.
"What are you doing awake?" I ask, sleepily.
"Couldn't sleep." She said, "it's nearly morning, you've got to get to your dormitory before someone notices."
"I love you, Gin." I say, stretching and getting up to head toward the stairs.
"I know." She said, "now go."
I awoke again an hour later when Hermione was getting ready for breakfast. I decided to sleep a bit later since I had been up late the night before, and I could surely eat breakfast at Hogsmeade.
