Dear Ginny,
Thank you for the birthday wishes. I am excited to see you again in just a few days!
Things here have been so great, I don't even want to come back to school. My friends have been so great to be around, and I have been spending all of my time with the few that are here.
I wrote to her, carefully, being sure that I didn't slip up and mention anything that she couldn't know about. She knew who all of my closest friends at camp were, but she didn't know who was really family, or any of the godly stuff.
Most of my friends have gone home for the school year, or are off doing other things, but Will, Nico, and Leo are all here.
I had forgotten how much I missed them. Specifically Leo. For Christmas, he made me the most beautiful bracelet. I'll have to show you when I get back!
Our friendship has gotten to a point where it's better than ever. Since being back at camp, we haven't left each others sides. He has been sleeping in my cabin every night (not in a weird way don't worry) and we have been spending all of our days together.
It only got awkward on New Years Eve, because we obviously didn't kiss at midnight, but I think part of him was expecting to. We didn't hangout as much after that until my birthday.
At midnight, he brought me to the bunker that he works at, and he and Will and Nico had all set up a cake and streamers. It was so cute I almost cried.
Anyways, I can't wait to hear about everything happening at Grimmauld Place. I wish that I could've stayed there more than just two days, but I'm excited to catch up. Tell the family that I miss them and I will see them soon!
Love, Lilia.
Break had been truly wonderful. I missed Leo more than I realized, and the reunion was like something out of a movie.
I first met with Nico, who shadow traveled me back from Grimmauld Place. Nobody saw him though, we couldn't risk that.
As soon as we got back, Will was happily waiting for us. I chatted with them for hours. They told me all about what's been happening at camp, even the fact that Leo has been weirdly quiet since I left from Thanksgiving. We were up late until they eventually decided to go to sleep in Nico's cabin.
I snuck out to Bunker 9 that night that I got back, and startled Leo from his work. He did a double take, trying to see if it was really me. He dropped everything in his hands and gave me the biggest hug ever, covering us both in grease. I wasn't too happy about that, but we ended up staying awake all night talking and catching up.
He fell asleep in my cabin that night, and ended up sleeping there almost every night for the rest of break.
The bracelet that he made me for Christmas was one of the most thoughtful gifts that I have ever received. It was a bracelet welded from celestial bronze, and when I unclasped it, it turned into a dagger. It was amazing.
I felt guilty because all that I had to give him was a chocolate frog, but he found that fascinating. He spent the next few days trying to replicate the mechanics of it, which he almost successfully did! I told him that all he needed was a little bit of magic, to which he responded, "Have you seen these hands Sunshine? They've built some things even better than magic."
As I wrote in my letter to Ginny, New Years Eve made things awkward. We didn't hangout as much after that, until my birthday.
Sixteenth birthdays weren't celebrated that much at camp, because of the whole prophecy business, but they still made it special for me.
After that, we went back to having sleepovers every night again. He even slept in my bed one night, but I swear it wasn't weird like that. We were just cuddling a little bit until we both passed out. Okay maybe two nights.
I had sent that letter to Ginny now two days ago. I was planning to return to Hogwarts tomorrow. Nico would shadow travel me in the morning to Grimmauld Place, and then I would take the train back with my family and Harry and Hermione.
I had written back and forth with Millicent a couple times, wishing eachother happy holidays and making plans for when we return.
I was excited to go back to school, but nervous to leave camp again. I had no idea what things were going to look like when I got back.
I was nervous to see everyone again, and return to my double life.
