Apparently a lot can change in 5 days

To be completely honest, I spent most of the next day replaying all of the events that took place at camp in my head. I spilled all of it to Hermione, who looked sad for me, but didn't dwell on it for very long. I know it's a little bit selfish, but I just wished all of my friends would stop worrying so much about Dumbledore's Army and take things a little more lightly.

After my short conversation with Hermione, I decided to confide in my brother/best friend, Ron. We haven't been very close since we got back to school, which pushed me even farther to wanting to go find him.

I searched the castle after lunch before finding him in the courtyard with Seamus and Dean.

"Hey," I say, sitting down next to them.

"Hey, Lilia!" Seamus greets me brightly.

Ron gives me a side hug and tells me that they were just catching up about everyone's progress with the DA.

"Blah, blah, blah. When did everyone get so serious? I know this is a big deal, but why don't we all have some fun?" I ask, nudging Ron's arm playfully.

They look at me for a moment, before Seamus smirks and says, "Gooden's right, you know. It's been a while since we've just gotten to be kids. Too much has changed."

Dean was about to reply when Umbridge walked up to us, "Girls and boys must be at least eight inches apart at all times. That means you Ms. Gooden."

I didn't want to argue right now. "Yes ma'am." I said, moving away from Ron.

Umbridge nodded proudly, walking away to harass another group of students.

"Anyways, while I'm here, can I ask you guys advice?" I said. I really don't mind sharing my business with them. I've basically grown up with these people, and I know Seamus and Dean would never judge me. Plus, I really needed to get all of this off my chest.

I gave them a brief summary of everything that happened with Leo, leaving out the part about how he's a son of Hephaestus and all of that. With a few head shakes and groans from Ron, I told most of the story.

"And then, before I left just this last time, he told me we should put things on hold until we see eachother again. I don't even know how to feel about it but, let me tell you, I am not feeling too good."

As I finished the story, I looked around for reactions and I am met with Seamus and Dean grinning at me.

"You owe me." Seamus says to Dean, holding out his hand and smirking.

"What?" I ask, confused.

"Come on guys, really? With my sister?" Ron says, resting his forehead on his palm and shaking his head.

"I knew you slept over with Malfoy that night." Seamus said, grinning through the side of his mouth.

I shrug. "Oh. Yeah. I thought everyone knew that but-"

"I thought it was just rumors." Dean said, annoyed but giving Seamus the money anyways.

"That really wasn't the point of that story." I said, sighing. "I just don't know what to do, I'm so confused. What do you guys think?"

Ron still looked defeated, but put an arm around my shoulder, glancing around to make sure Umbridge was out of sight. "Well, I think you should forget about boys and just hangout with your brothers."

"Ron, seriously." I roll my eyes.

"I am serious."

Seamus speaks up, smiling warmly, "Well, Lilia, I think you're worrying too much. Obviously this guy cares about ya, but you're across an ocean right now. Just focus on being here then worry about that when you get home."
