I'd been looking for jobs, and it seemed as if no one was hiring. I felt useless just sitting around at Sasha's, I needed to work, so I decided to go ahead and try my luck with my very last option.

I pulled into the parking lot and placed my dark shades on before heading in.

I stopped one of the workers and asked where the manager was, "Right down the hall to the left." She pointed.

Anxious wasn't the word, I was beyond nervous as I neared the door.

I let out a deep breath as I raised my hand to knock, the door swung open before I could, "Oh, sorry." I stepped back.

The man pulled his shades up and gave me a quick once over. "Step into my office." He stepped aside for me to come in.

I stepped in, standing to the side nervously.

He shut the door and went around his desk and sat. "Get undressed." He demanded.

I was taken aback by his words, and reluctantly I undressed and stood there faking confidence as he checked me out.

"Turn around." He said.

I did as he asked. "Alright, you're hired. You start tonight." He said.

"Okay." I smiled. "What's your name?" He asked. "Naomi," I answered as I got dressed.

"Your stage name." He said.

I guess I didn't think that far ahead, honestly didn't think I'd get hired. "Uh- I don't have one." I said honestly.

"Fantasy." He said.

"Huh?"

"Your stage name is Fantasy." He said.

"Okay, I like that," I smirked.

"The only rule we have is no sleeping with the customers. If you do, don't get caught. Two, no fighting, it'll cost you a $200 fee." He said.

I nodded.

"Any questions?" He stood.

"What time should I come?" I asked.

"9:00." He said

"Cool." I opened the door and he followed me out.

I opened the door and instantly the smell of food hit me.

"Good news?" Sasha asked as I came in.

"Great news," I said.

"Fill me in." She stopped stirring the pot and gave me her attention.

I placed my purse on the island and sat on a stool. "Well, I had the interview and they hired me on the spot," I said.

"That's so good, what's the job?" She asked.

Instantly I started trying to figure out my lie, "Overnight bartender." I said.

"Ouu that should be interesting." She said. "Yeah, most definitely." I agreed.

"So when do you start?" She went back to stirring the food. "Tonight actually, so ima need to get some sleep." I stood up from the stool.

She frowned, "You not gonna eat? I made enough for the both of us, plus more." She asked. I wanted to, but these days I'm not really hungry.

"Uhh- nah I'll skip out. I'll probably get some leftovers when I get up tonight." I said.

"Okay." She gave me a weird look.

"What?" I raised my brows.

"I haven't seen you eat in days and you're losing a lot of weight." She said.
