"Damn, the club is dead." Sinner complained. I nodded, "Yeah, it's the rain." I said.

Sinner and I were becoming close despite my initial feelings about her. Although before our closeness I felt like she was a bit off, she's pretty cool.

"I'm thinking about dipping out, it doesn't look like anything is happening tonight." She said. "I think I'll stick around, hopefully, a few loners stray in later," I said.

"Well, I'll see you tomorrow." She said gave me a side hug before heading to the back to grab her things.

I sighed looking around at the place, the emptiest I've ever seen it. But the one thing I learned about slow days is somebody is going to come in and spend some money. And I wasn't going home with nothing in my pocket.

"You look lonely," I smirked hearing Calvin's voice. "I'm not, I'm enjoying my own company," I said.

"It turns me on when you play hard to get. I like a challenge." He sat next to me at the bar. I chuckled, "Aren't you supposed to be working?" I cocked my head to the side looking at him.

"You are so sexy when you look at me like that." He bit his lip slightly.

I rolled my eyes, "What do you want?" I questioned.

"You." He stated simply.

"Calvin."

"Say my name again." His eyes lowered making me shrink in my seat. "I'm leaving." I stood from the stool attempting to walk away.

He grabbed my arm and pulled me between his legs. Even sitting down he towered me a bit.

"Stop running from me." He stared into my eyes. "Stop chasing me." I shot back.

He leaned closer, "I know you want me."

"You wish." I pulled back, making my way to the dressing room.

The thing about Calvin is I did like him, but he wasn't pursuing me the correct way.

The back-and-forth banter was cute and fun, but it wasn't that easy.

I sat down looking in the mirror at myself, you've changed.

"I'm gonna graduate, get my dream job, then find the man of my dreams and we're gonna start a family. After that, I'm gonna become a stay-at-home mom so I can spend all my time with my kids and husband. And I'll watch them grow and my husband and I will get old together." I ranted on to Sasha.

"Boring, but that's your dream life." She rubbed her glossy lips together in her small compact mirror.

"So what's not boring?" I questioned.

"Let's see." She closed the mirror.

"First I'm not wasting my time on college, I'll get a head start by just taking a little 6 months to a year class and getting a license doing something in the medical field. Then I'll have time to party and have as many boyfriends as I want. But they gotta have money so they can take me on trips and buy me whatever I want." She said with confidence.

I shook my head, "Sounds complicated and ungodly." I judged.

"Listen, Nay, giving your life to Christ is for old people. I'll sin while I'm young and when I get old then ima start living right. As of now, I'm a young baby, plus we're only in high school." She frowned.

"What if you don't live to see old age, then what?" I asked.

"Girl I'm good I promise, you, on the other hand, need to live a little."
