Chapter 63 last part

The next day was Mallika's wedding. At night, Anu and Jiya insist on applying mehendi to Mallika's hands.

"Anu, at this age, I don't like doing all this tantrums. At the same time, I feel a little strange thinking about marriage. We will just go to court tomorrow, sign the papers, and come back home."

"Dear Aunt, happiness has no correlation with age. There is no age to be happy. We have learned to live life on our own terms, irrespective of  society from you  only," Anu said.

"Anu is right. Now you quietly apply henna."

No one was ready to listen, so Mallika quietly followed the children's instructions. Vikrant had also invited Aman home. Jiya and Anu had applied mehendi to both of their hands. At night, they had dinner together. After that, they danced together. Jivika was excited to see so many people at home.

In the morning, everyone was ready to leave for the court. After signing the papers, Aman filled sindoor on Mallika's forehead and wore a mangalsutra around her neck. Lunch was arranged at Aman's house, so everyone had lunch there. Vikrant and Jiya had left Mallika at Aman's house and returned home with their children.

Jivika was tired of the whole day's fun, so she went to bed early. Mayank and Anu slept in Abha's room. Jiya was lying with her head on Vikrant's shoulder.

"What do you think about moving to Mumbai?"

"I have resigned from school. Everything is packed in a suitcase; all that is left is to pack Jivi's belongings."

On hearing this, Vikrant's face lit up with a big smile.

"I want to tell you something."

"Hmmm, I am listening."

The moment he took Abha's name. Jiya's mood got upset.

"Listen to me first; don't spoil your mood."

"Okay."

"I have handed her over to the police. She threatened to make the CD viral. All those files have been deleted from her computer."

"What if she did not confess her crime before the police?"

"There's nothing to worry about. I have a recording of her confession. There's no need to be afraid of her. The doors of Vikrant Kapoor's house have been closed for her forever."

Hearing this, Jaya breathed a sigh of relief. A few days later, he left for Mumbai with his family. As soon as she reached Mumbai, past events started disturbing her mind. She didn't want to go back to that house again.

"This road does not lead to our house. Which way are you taking it?", Jiya asked.

"This road leads to our house. Sit comfortably."

Seeing Anu and Mayank smiling, Jiya understood that something was wrong but did not understand what was wrong. Vikrant's car stopped in front of a big bungalow. The sound of the waves was coming from the sea. The bungalow seemed familiar to Jiya.

"Is this the same bungalow that you showed me in the video call?"

"Hmmm."

"Instead of taking us home, why did you bring us to your friend's bungalow?"

"You said you didn't want to go back to that house, so I brought you here."

"I don't understand anything."

"This is our new home."

On hearing this, Jiya's eyes welled up with tears. Panditji was already present in the house with Rajesh and his wife. As per the custom, Jiya entered the house, and along with the story of Satya Narayan God, the muhurut of the house was also done.

As soon as he entered the room, Vikrant put the papers of the house in Jiya's hand.

"What is this, dear?"

"I bought this house in your name. It's just the papers. You are now the owner of this house. No one can kick you out of this house."

Hearing this, Jiya got emotional and hugged Vikrant.

"You are my home. I don't care about anything till you're with me."

Jiya and Vikrant's families were reunited. Both of them were happy with the new beginning of their lives. Abha was in jail. The court has not yet started hearing the case. Suddenly, one day, Vikrant got a call that Abha's mental condition was not good.

When he went to meet her, she started crying the moment she saw him, and then suddenly she grabbed his throat. The grip of her hand was so strong that both the constable and Vikrant had to work hard to free themselves from her hands.

Vikrant got scared of such a sudden attack. He spoke to a psychiatrist about it. She needed treatment. It was difficult for her to recover in the jail environment.

When Vikrant went home and told this to Jiya and the children, they were surprised. They didn't think it would be this bad. All had gone to jail to meet Abha. On seeing Anu and Mayank, she started crying.

Vikrant didn't let Jiya get close to her. Seeing both of them together, she became violent and started abusing Jiya in anger. She had a very strange condition; at one moment, she used to cry so much that the heart of the person in front of her would melt seeing her tears, and at the next moment, she would become so violent that it would be difficult to handle.

Jiya asked Vikrant to withdraw the complaint against her and get her admitted to a good mental hospital. "God has already punished her for her actions."

"Jiya, she has done so much harm to you, yet you are thinking about her good."

"She wasn't a bad person. She has given a good upbringing to your children. I will never be able to forgive her for what she did to me. Vikrant, I am not happy to see her in such a condition; I feel sad. And I think that's what the kids want, too."

Anu and Mayank hugged Jiya. Vikrant had withdrawn the case against Abha and admitted her to a psychiatric hospital.

Jiya and Vikrant were happy with their family. Jiya was pregnant again with a second baby. Mallika had come to Mumbai to take care of her. Aman used to come to meet her in between. A few months later, Jivika's younger brother had arrived, and now Jivika had become a big sister.

Sometimes Jiya used to get tired of taking care of the children alone. One such day, Vikrant was in a jovial mood. He joked, "Let's have a nanny for the children. You will also feel relaxed."

On hearing the word, Nanny Jiya's temper had gone up.

"I will raise my children on my own, no matter how I raise them, but I will never keep Nanny."

"I was joking, Jiya. Calm down."

There was no improvement in her health condition. She had attempted suicide twice before that. No one ever thought that life would take such a turn. Her unfulfilled dreams had become the reason for her downfall.

Despite the stain on Jiya's character, she didn't loose her dignity and Abha lost everything. She lost herself in love with a man who never loved her. Her unfulfilled desires brought her to a point where she lost everything and she was left alone in life fighting with her own emotions.
