"We've got everything!" Carly called from the corner.

Mia was zipping up her backpack, nodding in agreement, "Lets get out of here!" Mia shouted.

There was an angry blizzard outside, it was hard to hear anything over the cold wind gushing furiously through the air.

Jodie was watching the blizzard in fascination, not moving, Mia grabbed Jodie's hand in frustration, "Come on Jodie! We have to go!"

They all started to rush towards the exit before the sound of glass shattering froze them all in place.

"Nobody move." Winter whispered as the cry of a zombie echoed the room.

Mia walked in front of Jodie and Carly protectively, holding out her crossbow.

There was a lot of movement then.

Around fifteen zombies had swarmed the warehouse, climbing through windows.

They couldn't even run.

Winter looked to Mia in horror.

"Follow my lead!" She said as she shot the first few with ease.

Winter moved forward, the sound of his gun shook the room, piercing their ears.

There was a sudden wave of realisation that drowned Mia leaving her breathless, these zombies were fast. Faster than any of the ones she'd previously fought.

Two zombies were closing in either side of the three woman, She needed to think fast.

She pulled out her knife instinctively and aimed it towards the first one behind her, she didn't look back to see if she'd struck the creature, she discarded her crossbow and reached for her shotgun, the other zombie inched closer before Mia fired the shot into its skull.

Jodie was screaming in fear.

Mia looked around and spotted winter taking out zombies with ease, Carly was at his side helping him.

"Jodie stay behind me!" Mia said quickly as another creature crawled towards her ankle, she trod on his head with might and didn't even wince when it's head caved inwards and it's body shuddered with the impact.

Mia looked up once more, five more zombies closed in on her and Jodie.

Mia shot the first four with ease before paling in horror, she was out of bullets.

Jodie panicked, picking up the discarded crossbow in front of her she squeezed her eyes shut in fear as she aimed for the remaining one.

To Mia's shock Jodie actually managed to kill it, the arrow landed firmly in its chest and the creature wailed in pain before collapsing to the ground.

It was silent.

Mia looked around in shock, adrenaline pumping through her veins furiously.

"Is everyone okay?" Winter called out.

Mia looked back at Jodie who was smiling triumphantly.

"Yeah!" Mia said breathlessly.

"Good, now come on let's get out of her before more come!" He said rushing towards them.

"Thank god." Marjorie said as she opened the door and saw Carly and the rest of the group behind her, she wrapped her arms tightly around the younger girl. Carly started to cry and Marjorie looked over to Winter in worry.

"She's shaken up." Winter said slowly before smiling, Autumn was out the door and in his arms in seconds.

"Darling you're freezing." She said alarmed, pulling back.
