"𝐘𝐎𝐔 𝐂𝐀𝐍 𝐁𝐄 my teacher, I'll do my homework," Octavia sang out, stirring the pot of rice with a smile. "You can give me extra credit, baby, I'll do more work," Eternity chimed in, gently swaying with Olijah in her arms, his eyes drooping despite the lively music playing in the background.
Ciara's "Promise" blasted in the kitchen, temporarily drowning out the growls of their empty stomachs as they sang to the music.
"I'm looking for somebody I can call boo. Lookin' for the only one who I can give my all to," Essynce grazed her sister's chin as she said the words.
"Tell me if it's you, you, you .What you wanna do, do, do? Make a move.." She smiled.
Looking down at Olijah momentarily she noticed his eyes shut, and his labored breaths, indicating that he had fell asleep in the mist of their quote on quote concert.
"Ms. Tay he fell asleep." Eternity spoke up, counting to bounce up and down with the baby in her arms.
"I knew he would. His room is upstairs to the right, but if you don't feel comfortable taking him you could put him on the couch. Either or would be fine." Octavia explained.
"Okay." She muttered walking out of the kitchen heading to the stairs. She was only familiar with the downstairs area since she never felt the need to tour the whole house, she thought it'd be weird to do that on her own.
She followed Octavia's instructions and made her way to the first door on the right. Inside, she found a room decorated with Toy Story bedding and curtains, with a few stuffed animals scattered around. The walls were painted a soft blue, and a poster of Buzz and Woody hung on one wall. It was a cozy space that showed Octavia's thoughtful touch.
