𝐇𝐄 𝐆𝐑𝐀𝐒𝐏𝐄𝐃 𝐓𝐇𝐄 doorknob, taking a deep breath before slowly pushing it open. Eternity looked up gradually, her leg ceasing its angry shaking as she met his gaze. The room seemed to hold its breath, the tension palpable as Omyri stepped inside, his heart pounding in his chest.

"Get the fuck out," Eternity snapped, her eyes narrowing into a fierce glare. She was doing everything she could to resist the urge to run up and punch him right in his shit.

He scrunched up his face, jerking his head back in surprise. "Watch yo' mouth, Joaa," he said, his voice soft as he licked his lips.

"You think you got the right to tell me to watch my fucking mouth, Omyri?!" she yelled, standing up and gesturing angrily at herself. "I wish I would listen to you after the shit you just pulled," she spat out, her words laced with venom.

She honestly didn't want to hear a damn thing he had to say. Her feelings were hurt — no, scratch that — she was pissed off. Her hands shook as she tilted her head at him, eyes blazing.

"I don't cuss at you, so don't cuss at me," he said softly, shaking his head. He genuinely didn't want to argue, but he knew that's exactly what she was going to do. And she had every right to.

"Do I give a fuck?" she chuckled angrily. "Ask me if I really give a fuck, Omyri." She rubbed her hands together before pressing them against her face.

"You two besties now?" she smiled at him, her tone dripping with sarcasm. "You like to touch knees with bitches and shit," she added.

He sighed, shaking his head. "It's the fact that you fucking lied. I asked you plenty of times if there was something you had to tell me. This shit wouldn't even be as big as it is if you had just told me," she said, pointing at him.
