"𝐘𝐎𝐔 𝐂𝐀𝐍𝐍𝐎𝐓 𝐄𝐀𝐓 my hair, Olijah." Eternity pulled her braid away from the babies mouth. She was currently in Omyri's room after school, being that it was Friday.
She was so glad that she made it to Friday, though they didn't do anything hard in school just yet, she just hated getting ready for school everyday. School also interrupted her time with Omyri and she hated that, she missed him so much.
"I missed you too, but you can't eat my hair!" Eternity laughed, gently kissing Olijah's chubby cheeks.
Just then, Omyri walked into the room, rubbing his wet hands on his sweatpants. "Masai, he pooped, you need to change him," Eternity said, as she held the baby out for him to take.
Omyri raised an eyebrow, "You spent all this time with him and you ain't do it?" He asked, incredulous. She simply replied, "Yep," popping her lips for emphasis.
"Ian doing it," He muttered to himself, going to hand the baby off to their mom, effectively passing on the task of changing Olijah's diaper.
When Omyri returned, he noticed Eternity engrossed in her phone and gently took it from her hands. "Ian see you all week, basically, and you're still on your phone," He said, raising an eyebrow.
Eternity apologized, "I'm sorry. This girl keeps texting me, and it's kind of weird... but honestly, I think everything is weird," She trailed off, shrugging her shoulders in a mixture of confusion and dismissal.
Since their initial encounter on the first day, Lola had been determined to win Eternity over, consistently texting her about classes and other matters, and even going so far as to invite herself and her friends to join Eternity, Essynce, and Quincy, essentially inserting herself into their social circle.
