𝐎𝐌𝐘𝐑𝐈 𝐒𝐓𝐎𝐎𝐃 𝐎𝐔𝐓𝐒𝐈𝐃𝐄, raindrops pattering against his glasses, as he waited for Eternity to join him. She had been insistent on coming over to his place, eager to escape the emptiness of her own home with her sister Essynce busy with Ahmad and her grandmother Erin away at bingo. Omyri shared her sentiment, equally reluctant to spend the day alone.
Omyri tucked his hands into the front of his sweatpants, his eyes fixed on Eternity's front door as it swung open and closed. She emerged with a bag slung over her shoulder, hurrying towards him with a sense of urgency.
Her hoodie was pulled up, hiding her hair, which was tied back in a messy bun, giving her a cozy and laid-back look. As she approached, Omyri's gaze lingered on her, taking in the details of her relaxed demeanor.
As Eternity stepped under the porch, she took a deep breath and said, "You suppose to have the door open for me to enter already, Masai." She stated it matter-of-factly, as if it was an understood gesture.
Omyri raised his arms, genuinely unsure, "How I'm s'pose to know that?"
Eternity shook her head, opening the door herself. She slipped off her pink Crocs at the entrance, and Omyri followed suit, removing his own shoes before following her to his room.
Omyri lay on his back, watching Eternity as she pushed the hood of her black Essentials Hoodie off her head, revealing her messy bun underneath. She was still dressed in her cozy outfit, consisting of the hoodie paired with simple black leggings and black socks.
Eternity's face glowed with a healthy shine, her skin looking freshly moisturized and radiant. Her lips were also hydrated, coated with a layer of Aquaphor that gave them a subtle sheen. It was clear that she had just stepped out of the shower, her entire appearance exuding a sense of cleanliness and freshness.
