The next morning, Sunghoon was up and ready earlier than usual. He just felt exhilarated upon the thought of seeing Jay. He couldn't wait to tease the latter about the bet that they made last night.

To be honest, Sunghoon had no idea why and how he had ended up knocking on Jay's door last night. He just felt like it. A part of him was hoping Jay would end up knocked out, unaware of Sunghoon's presence lingering outside of his door, but also, a small part of him kind of wanted to spend time with him. It was a little embarrassing to admit that in front of him though.

So Sunghoon got ready and waited on his couch for Jay to knock.

Meanwhile, Jay woke up 5 minutes later than usual and felt cranky. He remembered last night– the occurring events flying past his head– and smacked himself in the face. He acted as if he was high. Truth to be told, Jay was really tired due to the hectic day, so in the end, he didn't know what he was doing because of the sleep wearing on him, and also not to mention– his scattered sleeping cycle.

Nonetheless, he got ready for the day and figured since it was Friday he wouldn't worry about the next day. While getting ready, his mind wandered off to the events last night. He felt heat rush to his cheeks when he was reminded of the way Sunghoon's lip curved into a sly smirk; he found it oddly attractive. On the other hand, when Jay tried smiling, it looked rather plain or just looked unordinary, so he decided to stick with his everyday stoic face (which made him look like a living dead person).

Jay stepped in front of Sunghoon's apartment, knocking twice. Not even a second later, the door flung open as Sunghoon stood there, eyes lit up in exhilaration at the sight of Jay, shoulders hunched up and a soft smile on his face. This was a completely different contrast to when he first met him; his face was fierce, and it looked like he would commit murder with his eyes if he could.

Jay cleared his throat, smiling lightly, pushing the embarrassing thoughts in the back of his head. Afterall, he was still the anti-social, introverted loser— stuck inside the body of an adult.

Sunghoon stepped out of the apartment, locking the door as Jay watched, folding his arms in front of him, once again.

"Good morning," Sunghoon muttered finally to which Jay replied back curtly. "Are you still tired?" he asked the younger, to which in response, Jay nodded. "My sleep schedule is messed up. I need to fix it sooner or later."

"Hey," Sunghoon said, catching Jay's attention as he descended the staircase, "don't forget the bet that we made!" Sunghoon reprimanded. "Afterall, I am still your boss, so disobeying me will lead you to consequences."

Jay sighed, a meek smile curving on the ends of his lips. "I know, I know. I won't disobey you, sir." Jay replied as they entered the parking lot. He felt a little glad knowing he'd be the only one who knew this playful side of Sunghoon. To others, Sunghoon seemed distant, rude, sometimes obnoxious— and mostly straightforward. Nobody really deemed him to be playful, acting like a highschool boy.

Friendships can sometimes really bloom into ones' yearning for childhood comfort. Earning back the childhood that one had missed, and experiencing the feeling of having someone who relates with you, who smiles with you and shares a joke, not minding how stupid it looks. It's rare to discover that hidden feeling after so long.

Jay felt like Sunghoon would be a lot like Jungwon if only he had the chance to express himself. He can already see the resemblance; the cute dimples poking out, the subtle blushing. They weren't really any different.
