Jay stopped in front of Mr. Park's room, knocking discreetly and entering the room once he heard the faint 'come in' from the other side of the room. Mr. Park was occupied with various types of files piling on his desk, and Jay felt slightly worried, but he shook the thought away.

Clearing his throat, and walking up to him, he said, "Sir, here are the reports from the HR department." He stretched his hand out, and Sunghoon paused for a brief moment, glancing at Jay and then the files. "Tell them they're 2 hours late, and that they need to write another report within the remaining two hours." He plainly spoke, eyes darting back down to the monitor screen. Jay was used to his rather "difficult" personality, considering the fact that he'd been the only secretary who worked under Sunghoon for this long. He mumbled a "yes, sir," and turned back on his heels, stepping out of the office.

Now he had to walk all the way back to the HR department, instruct them— and hear a few groans and whines here and there. He hated ruining people's moods, but what could he do to change that? It's his job after all.

"Jay-ah!" The taller stopped and waved lightly to his friend, Jungwon, who was also running, holding a few files. Jay smiled and stared at the younger in fondness; his friend still hadn't changed much after years. Those pretty dimples, his sharp, feline boba eyes; how they shine with elation every time the boy finds a spark of interest in small, simple things in daily life. He was the epitome of hope, his hope that kept him moving when he was stuck in a dilemma of an endless loop of confusion and problems; answers, choices, judgments, and wallowing in the depths of disappointment. Jungwon was there for him when he had no one to rely on. He appreciated that.

"Are you going to the HR department too?" he asked once he stopped in front of Jay. "Yeah. Mr. Park told me to return the files and to redo 'em." Jay sighed with an annoyed sigh, "I feel bad for the employees in the department." They chatted as they walked together, conversing about random things. "Mr. Lee wants me to convince the HR department to somehow collaborate with the sales department for his recent project," Jungwon said with a slight shrug and Jay nodded, having heard of it somewhere before.

"Oh right– bitch, I saw Taehyun!" Jungwon exclaimed as they entered the elevator. Jay's eyes widened. As soon as the elevator door closed, he squealed along with Jungwon. Jay acted professional at most times, and not many knew about this side of him. "Bitch! Me too! He was so hot– you saw the way he talked— his fucking voice was so perfect." Jay's eyes sparkled at the memory.

"I was so surprised to see him randomly barging into Mr. Lee's office. I almost planted my face on the wall because my fucking mouth dropped."

"Cameras don't do him justice. He looks so much better in person." Jay added and Jungwon agreed. They talked about the memory for a while, until the elevator door opened and their smiles immediately dropped, switching back to their professional character.

"Fuck... Jay, don't tell me you're here to ruin my day again..." Yeonjun's voice trailed off as he leaned back in the chair. Jay's lips formed into a thin line as he walked over to the slumping boy, "Sorry, hyung. You know how Mr. Park is..." he breathed out, pitying the poor boy. "Yeah– yeah, I know. It's not your fault." He mumbled, taking the files from his hands, "Thanks." he threw a soft smile at the shorter and turned back to the computer screen, opening Word and getting to work. Jay's lips curved into a lopsided smile as he made his way back to Sunghoon's office where he would have to inform the older about the upcoming meeting.

Jungwon still had not returned, so Jay guessed that he was still conversing with one of the employees, specifically the employee named Nishimura Riki. He smirked at the thought, shaking his head a few times.

"What're you thinking about?" he flinched when he heard a female's voice chirp in beside him. It was Areum. "Oh– just some memory," he said with a smile. She returned the smile and spoke about a few work topics until they reached Sunghoon's office he was about to enter when she held his wrist and stopped him.
