Jay carried Sunghoon in his arms, his body weight shifting to the side a few times. He decided to cover the older with his blazer, since the boy couldn't stop shivering due to the night brisk. Jay had a rather odd feeling that it would rain tonight.

"Ugh, sir..." He grunted as he struggled to carry him up the stairs. The infrastructure really wasn't helping--- as the crated, deteriorated staircase felt precarious to walk on. The building's amazing electricity system really provided aid by flickering every 2 seconds.

Jay's head was throbbing. And to add onto the strain, Sunghoon kept punching his back. Finally, they reached their floor and Jay faced the very familiar apartment door, fiddling through Sunghoon's pocket to find his keys.

"Sir—where are the keys?"

Sunghoon turned his head, staring at him dazingly before throwing it onto Jay's shoulder. Jay exhaled begrudgingly, taking the problem into his own hands by placing Sunghoon straight on the door and digging into all the pockets he had.

Jay's mouth curved into a small, determined smile when he felt the key in one of Sunghoon's back pockets. Who the fuck stuffs their house keys in their bum pockets? Jay thought, stifling a laugh. He pulled Sunghoon away from the door, unlocking it.

As usual, the door frame light flicked on immediately as soon as the door stretched open, allowing Jay to peer around for a place to throw Sunghoon--- since he really couldn't handle the heavy weight anymore.

The couch on the living room wasn't big enough to lay Sunghoon, so his only option was the bedroom, which somehow looked eerier compared to the apartment itself.

Does this man not use the electricity?

He pushed the thought back, drawing in another sigh before carrying him to the bedroom. As soon as he caught glimpse of the bed, Jay didn't hesitate to throw the boy—even if it was somewhat of a harsh landing.

"Where..." Sunghoon mumbled, peeking through lidded eyes. "Where are you going...?"

Jay looked down, unable to understand what the older was mumbling. "Hmm?" He hummed, "I said," sunghoon groaned, "where are you going?"

Jay cleared his throat, "I had to uh, drop you off, sir. You drank a lot."

"No." Sunghoon said, firmly. Jay cocked his head to the side in confusion. "No... what, sir?" He inquired. "No, stay. Don't you dare leave."

Jay swallowed the lump in his throat, staring at the door before turning his head back to the boy. "But, I uh..."

"I told you to stay, Jongseong. Why won't you do that?" Sunghoon grunted out before lunging on Jay, pulling his wrist causing him to tumble on top of Sunghoon.

Jay's breath hitched when he felt his body press against Sunghoon. Nose almost touching because of the distance. Sunghoon idly stared at Jay, grazing his hand against his waist as he held him tighter.

Jay was laying flat on Sunghoon, while Sunghoon rested his hands on his back, embracing him. Jay sucked his breath in, heart beating inside his chest. He couldn't move--- it felt thick—it felt as if he was entranced by his gaze. The tension lingered within the air for a few more seconds before Sunghoon moved his hand up, pushing Jay's head into the crook of his neck.

Fuck! This is bad.

The voice inside Jay's head reprimanded him for not moving; for not pushing the older away; for not leaving the moment he felt his heart race; for not leaving Park Sunghoon, and just move on.

He felt Sunghoon's lips nearing his ear lobe, and he took the initiative to push himself up, heaving multiple breaths. Sunghoon laid there, restless as his null eyes stared through Jay's, which were frantic, heart shaking in turmoil.

"Hyung, I—I should go now." Jay muttered, but not before Sunghoon stood up, stopping him. He stumbled, but still grappled onto Jay's white shirt, staring at him with hope, something he couldn't feign ignorance to.

"It gets so lonely, Jay-ah. Please. Please, can you stay with me for the night?" He was pleading with his eyes, a small pout decorating his lips. Jay's heart was racing; he didn't know what to do. He glanced around the room, exhaling.

"I..." he spoke, "Ah, fine. But I'll sleep on the couch."

Sunghoon ignored him, pulling the poor boy along and pushing him onto the wall-side of the bed. "No, you're gonna sleep with me." Sunghoon said, almost in a cute like manner, and Jay blushed at the wording.

He laid there awkwardly, as Sunghoon placed a pillow under his head, laying down beside him and just staring at him with a meek smile. Jay blinked. He blinked again. And again.

Sunghoon's smile got even bigger, his dimples displaying at the end of his lips. He traced Jay's arm, which was resting on the bed, bringing it to his face, holding it like a delicate petal.

Jay's face was completely red at this point, and he didn't even bother hiding it at this moment. "Sir...what are you doing?" he whispered, gulping. Sunghoon just hummed, holding his cheek while keeping his gaze knotted on his eyes.

He scooted closer, and Jay's breath hitched as Sunghoon came face to face with him.

"I'm holding you."

"Wow, I didn't know that." Jay had no idea where the sarcasm came from, especially now that he was stuck in this awkward situation (with his boss).

Jay understood why girls were smitten with him every time he came back drunk. His introverted persona would vanish into thin air, and he'd be flirting as if he's in a romcom.

"Hmm, well." Sunghoon muttered, tucking his head into Jay's neck. "I'm gonna keep you here with me tonight. You can't leave, okay?"

"I know, sir..." Jay said, a small smile curling at the ends of his lips. I wonder if he'll remember this after waking up tomorrow.

It took a while for Jay to get comfortable, but once he noticed Sunghoon's light snores, he slowly and gently removed his arm from over him and snuck underneath him, escaping successfully.

After quietly leaving Sunghoon's apartment, he rushed into his own and closed the door shut, exhaling in relief. God, what an eventful night. I hope Jungwon's doing fine.

(spoiler alert: he's not)
