After a while of driving, they decided to stop in front of a small cafe that Sunghoon suggested. Jay parked the car, dusting off his shirt a bit before following Sunghoon. They entered inside, and to their surprise, the cafe was quite crowded, contrary to their imagination.

"Sir.. do you want me to order something for you?" Jay asked, staring up at the older. Sunghoon shook his head and walked up to the counter, waiting behind a couple of people who stood in line. Jay stood beside him, fiddling with his fingers. He wondered if he was supposed to know his boss' ideal order- if not, he might get fired, but he shook the thought away.

There was slow, gentle music playing in the background, along with the hushed chatters of people. Jay glanced around, staring at the furnished cafe, and it looked comfortable. Just then, he felt a tug on his arm, and his back collided with Sunghoon's chest, a small gasp escaped his lips. Jay looked up at him, his hands still wrapped around Jay's arm. "Sir, is everything okay?" Jay whispered, confused. "You almost bumped into that girl," Sunghoon replied, staring down at him, then soon pulling his grasp away from him. "Be careful," he stated plainly with a resting face.

Jay mumbled a low thanks, keeping an eye out for people now. After a while, it was their turn to order. Jay hesitated, staring up at Sunghoon. "Do.. do you want me to order for you, sir?" He asked, pulling out his credit card. Sunghoon's gaze flicked onto him for a second, before landing on the menu board. "No, I'll pay for yours and mine," he stated bluntly, reading through the menu. Jay's hand paused mid-air and he quietly placed the card back inside his wallet.

"Good afternoon, sir, anything you like?" The boy standing in front of the counter asked. "Can I have plain waffles, coffee cheesecake, and some latte?" Sunghoon said, and the guy hummed, turning toward Jay. He coughed, speaking up, "I'll.. I'll have the waffles, and chocolate mousse along with some sweet coffee." The guy nodded, tapping their respective orders, "You can have a seat, we'll bring the food in a while," they said and both males found an empty table by a wall and on the light brown couch, feeling awkward.

They were quiet for a while, none of them daring to break the thin ice, until Jay finally spoke up, clearing the light tension. "Uh, sir.. Are you going to take up on Mr. Sim's offer?" He asked, placing both his hands on his lap. Sunghoon glanced at him, pondering over the question for a few seconds, then slightly nodded. "I see no problem with it. We'll have our fair share in it, as well." Sunghoon stated, eyes now staring into Jay's. "Do you have a different opinion?" he asked Jay.

"Oh- no, I think the deal is perfect. I was just curious about what you'd say..." his voice trailed off, and there was an awkward silence again.

"So, why'd you move to the apartment beside me?" Sunghoon bluntly asked, folding his arm above his chest. "I am pretty sure you were aware of the rumors and everything." Jay was taken aback, but he decided to answer regardless. "Uh, well... it was the cheapest out of all the other options I had in my mind.. And the rumors, it didn't affect me much..." He answered truthfully, and Sunghoon nodded in response, leaning back on the chair.

"It's ironic how you moved right beside me," the older said with a low chuckle, "who'd expect such circumstances." Jay laughed a little too. He was a little confused, but his heart was filled with elation when he started talking to Mr. Sunghoon. He wasn't that bad. They talked for a while, mostly about work- and school, but slowly the conversation started leading to their personal lives.

"Mr. Park, uh, if you don't mind me asking... Do you have any siblings?" Jay asked hesitantly, wondering if he was stepping boundaries or not. Sunghoon wavered for a second, but then smiled lightly, nodding his head, "I have a brother." he simply stated, not explaining further. Jay nodded and decided not to push the topic since he looked a bit- uncomfortable. A while later, the waiter arrived with the food and placed it on the table, leaving. Both males were hungry, so they dug in, enjoying and eating in silence.
