Jay sat on his desk, tapping the wooden board lightly. His gaze transcended into the wall clock hanging across from him. He was zoning out, thinking about something. Well, someone– that being Sunghoon. The older would cross his thoughts throughout the day— mostly because he was right in front of him all the time, and well, it was hard to forget such a face. Jay wondered, if Sunghoon had been a model instead of CEO, he would've gained immense fame because of his charming, soft looks. He was sculpted by the Greek god himself, Jay concluded. A light chuckle fell from his lips, and that's when he realized that he was zoning out— thinking about his boss.

His boss.

He cleared his throat, and got back to work. A while later, he heard the door knob twist open and Sunghoon walked in. Jay pretended not to be fazed by the situation earlier, and acted as if he was working. In reality, he had three more files to configure, and that alone would take up the rest of the time he had left.

From his peripheral vision, he could see Sunghoon taking a seat and preparing to work. But then all of a sudden, Sunghoon's head turned toward Jay, and the latter gasped, immediately averting his gaze back to the monitor screen.

On the other hand, Sunghoon tilted his head in confusion. He stared at Jay for a while, sighing and looked away. He felt weird. He'd sometimes stare at the younger— zoning out, eyes withholding fondness as he stared at the younger.

His introverted, socially anxious secretary was endearing. Anyone would stare. He continued working for an hour or two– and his back was aching. He had received emails from employees mentioning the collaboration, the new product idea and franchises. But currently, the collaboration with the Kang Company was the biggest resolution. It was a huge step towards advancing and promoting what they had, and what they had been creating. With the help of Taehyun and the company, Sunghoon could promote his business internationally— and to his advantage, they were already gaining advantage. Their international rates went higher by 5% this exact same week.

He averted his gaze from the screen to Jay, who seemed to be busy reading something. He had his head resting on his palm, while he scrolled mindlessly with the other hand. The light from the screen reflected on his face, blinding his eyes which were covered with glasses.

Out of curiosity, Sunghoon pushed his chair back, the creak echoing across the walls. He stood up, folding his arms behind his back and traced light footsteps towards the other.

Jay seemed to be pretty focused, as he didn't manage to notice Sunghoon approaching him. His mind was filled with the thoughts of sleep, commissions, sales, promotions and ramen. He was craving ramen badly— and his hunger couldn't wait any longer. A dreaded sigh fell from his lips, as he read the last line.

"Boo!" The poor boy flinched in shock, turning around to face Sunghoon. The latter was smiling mischievously, staring at the younger. He had his face real close to the other's, and it made the younger gulp out of nervousness. "I scared you!" Sunghoon exclaimed, standing back up and clapping in victory. Jay playfully rolled his eyes, a smile tugging at the end of his lips as well.

"Yes you did, sir." He said, folding his arms. "I would've fallen off right now if you weren't standing right behind me," he added. Sunghoon stopped laughing, ruffling his hair once again. "Ahh... you can be cute at times." Sunghoon said, and regretted it afterwards. He saw the way Jay's eyes widened in shock, the tip of his ears immediately turning a shade of pink hue. "I- I mean, you can be kinda dense at times." The older immediately retracted his sentence– not giving Jay a chance to respond.

"Anyways," Sunghoon took a seat in front of the younger. "We still need to discuss how the whole party— or clubbing will go."

Jay cleared his throat, ignoring the tight knot tugging in his heart. He felt like he was gonna die. "What about it sir?"

"Like what are we supposed to do? How are we supposed to set it up and everything?" Sunghoon stated, "Also, how will we tell everyone about it? I mean... they're gonna think I am going insane all of a sudden since I've never done anything like this."

Jay hummed, eyes traveling down his to lap, staring at his fingers. "We can start with what you think would be the best choice." Jay answered, looking up. "We can do clubbing in my opinion, as the employees here are occupied to even attend such places. But if you want to go with a party, that's also fine."

"Hmm," Sunghoon thought, "We'll go clubbing then." Sunghoon said with a nod of approval. "The company will take care of the charges and the meals."

"Great, we can—" Jay's words were interrupted due to this poor, starving stomach. His stomach grumbled, and he felt embarrassment soak down his body. He looked down, and heard Sunghoon light-hearted chuckle.

"Are you hungry, Jay?" He asked, and Jay looked up, an apologetic smile forming on his lips. "A little..." he said, to which Sunghoon snickered at. "We're about to head home anyways." The older said, pushing back the swivel chair and standing up promptly.

"Do you... want to have..." sunghoon mumbled, rubbing his nape anxiously while Jay questioned his behavior. "Nevermind." his head dropped in disappointment. Jay wondered what the older was going to ask him. "Well we should get going." And with that, the older walked out of the room, hands combing through the nest of hair.

Jay watched the door click shut, a sigh bellowing from his lips louder than he expected it to be. Well, one thing was clear. He was going to go home and sleep— well eat some ramen before, of course. He powered his monitor off, and headed outside.

"So Jungwon, place these copies into the folder for now. We can discuss everything on Monday." Heeseung muttered while rummaging through the stacks of files, not knowing Jungwon was standing right behind him. The taller sighed, closing the last file and turning around only to bump into someone.

"Oh..." He thought Jungwon would be across the room, but the latter was right in front of him. What caught the older's attention though, was not his secretary, but the boy in front of him. Yang Jungwon. He hadn't noticed how beautiful the younger boy was; his gaze still, eyes shining light the constellations within the void sky; empty almost, but within those dark, illuminating eyes, there were stars gleaming.

Heeseung's heart skipped a beat.

"S-sorry. I didn't mean to disturb you, Mr. Lee." the younger backed away, clearing his throat and darting his eyes around the room. Heeseung stood there for a few seconds, unable to move. "I..." he whispered, "it's fine," he declared, fixing his composure.

"Like I said, Jungwon-ssi, we can get the rest done on Monday. See you, then." Heeseung didn't bother waiting as he paced out the door and outside, catching his breath.

Ain't no way. NO fucking way he was going get all flustered by the boy.

But his eyes were so pretty, that the older felt like he had captured the moon inside his heart— gazing down at his eyes reminded him of a cat. He looked like a cat— peculiar enough— but he was pretty. A pretty boy is what Heeseung could think of him as.
