Patience and Progress

Half a year had passed since the initial revelations about the prophecy and the reluctant reconciliation between Damien, Marcus, and me. The tensions between Marcus and Damien remained high, but they were slowly diminishing. They avoided each other as much as possible, and I found myself spending time with each of them individually. It wasn't ideal, but it was progress.

Marcus still hadn't accessed his unique ability because Damien refused to fully accept him as part of our unusual, yet loving, relationship. Marcus's patience was running thin. One sunny afternoon, Marcus and I sat by the lake, the place that had become our refuge.

"I'm getting impatient, Xavier," Marcus said, frustration clear in his voice. "I've tried to be nice, to keep the peace, but Damien uses my efforts against me. He still won't open up."

I sighed, feeling the weight of the situation pressing down on me. "I know, Marcus. I'll talk to him again."

We had been spending more time together lately because Damien's alpha duties kept him busy. Marcus leaned closer, his expression serious. "If he would only accept me, it would make his job and life so much easier. It would make all of us a lot happier."

As he spoke, a chill breeze swept across the lake, making me shiver. Marcus noticed and pulled me close, wrapping his arms around me to warm me up. Just then, Damien stepped out from the treeline, his eyes narrowing as he saw us. He paused for a moment before continuing towards us.

"I hope I'm not interrupting anything," he said, his tone cold but controlled.

I shook my head quickly. "No, Damien, we were just talking."

Damien sat down on the other side of me, and both Marcus and I were shocked. This was the first time Damien had willingly stayed in close proximity to Marcus. The atmosphere was tense, but neither of us complained, relieved by this unexpected development.

"I have to go to an alpha meeting for a couple of weeks," Damien began, his voice steady. "Xavier, you'll have to stay here and help take charge of the pack as my mate."

Without looking at Marcus, he continued, "Marcus, you're responsible for Xavier's safety. If anything happens to him, I will kill you, prophecy or not."

Then, without warning, Damien leaned in and kissed me deeply, right in front of Marcus. I could feel Marcus's jealousy radiate off him, his low growl vibrating through the air. Damien smirked, his lips trailing down my neck, licking and biting until he reached my sweet spot. He sucked gently, causing me to let out a small moan. The sight, while making Marcus extremely jealous, also turned him on, evident by the tightness in his pants.

Damien chuckled, satisfied with his display, and stood up, walking away with a smug smile. I was left panting and shocked, but for some reason, Marcus felt that Damien had accepted him a tiny bit more. It was a minor shift, but it was something. He knew he would have to wait until Damien returned from his trip to see if there had been any real change.

Suddenly, I snapped Marcus out of his thoughts as I placed my small hands on his groin. He looked at me wide-eyed as I undid his pants and slid my hand into his boxers.

My fingers brushed against his growing erection, and I felt a thrill of power as Marcus's eyes darkened with desire. I stroked him slowly, my hand moving up and down his length, my eyes never leaving his. His breathing became ragged, and I could feel the tension building between us.

"Xavier," Marcus groaned, his voice filled with need.

I didn't respond with words. Instead, I leaned in closer, my lips brushing against his ear. "I want to make you feel good," I whispered, my voice low and seductive.

His eyes fluttered shut for a moment, his body trembling under my touch. I continued to stroke him, my movements steady and deliberate, building the pressure inside him. He bucked his hips slightly, seeking more friction, and I tightened my grip, giving him what he craved.

As I felt him nearing the edge, I lowered myself down, my lips brushing against the tip of his erection. His eyes snapped open, wide with surprise and anticipation. I licked the head slowly, tasting the saltiness of his pre-cum, and then took him into my mouth.

Marcus let out a deep, guttural moan, his hands tangling in my hair as I sucked him, my mouth moving up and down his length. I could feel him throbbing in my mouth, his body tense with the effort of holding back. I increased the pace, my tongue swirling around him, drawing him closer and closer to release.

With a final, shuddering gasp, Marcus came, his hot seed filling my mouth. I swallowed it all, not letting a drop escape. When he finally stopped trembling, I looked up at him, my eyes heavy with desire.

He pulled me into a fierce kiss, tasting himself on my lips, his hands roaming over my body with a desperate need. I knew he wanted more, but we were both exhausted. I snuggled into his side, feeling his strong arms wrap around me protectively as I drifter to sleep.
