"For the foundation skill of heroics we'll be studying today, it was decided that you'll be supervised by a three-man team consisting of myself, All Might, and another pro hero. As for what we'll be focusing on, it's this-the trial of rescue."

It's the next day at school, and as always, your afternoon classes are reserved for hero-related studies. The Quirk Apprehension Test was more so to get a baseline as to where all the students currently stand, then the Battle Trial was meant to pit you against each other in combat situations (which you barely got to experience, regretfully), and now, finally, it looks like you'll be covering the most important aspect of heroism there is. Saving people's lives.

You figured there had to be something interesting planned for today, just based on how Aizawa was acting, but of course, he's kept you completely in the dark until now. Either way, you're excited. This is what being a hero is all about, after all. This is the very reason you want to even be a hero-and the same goes for Izuku, as well.

"The training area is fairly far away, so we'll have to take a bus to get there," Aizawa says. "It's up to you if you want to wear your costume or not. I'll give you a few minutes to get ready, but make it quick. That's all."

You're not sure whether your costume will make much of a difference in the grand scheme of things, since it's mainly designed for when you fight people and get hurt. That probably won't be happening this time around. They're probably going to run various kinds of simulations for the students to get used to rescuing civilians, regardless of what factors are at play. Combat isn't going to be the focus for today.

Of course, you don't know it yet, but you're dead wrong, and in fact, you'll be doing more fighting today than you ever have before.

But for now, ignorance is bliss.

"In order to get everyone seated smoothly on the bus, please file into two lines according to your student numbers!" Iida cries out, blowing a whistle and everything.

"Looks like Iida's at full throttle," Izuku chuckles.

"As expected. He really is the perfect fit for class prez," you grin.

Yesterday, after the false alarm thanks to the reporters who trespassed onto campus, Iida had proven that he was good at reacting in emergency situations, and thanks to his quick thinking, he was able to calm everyone down before the situation got too out of hand. Izuku decided to relinquish his class president position to him, and all of the other students seemed to be in agreement. Izuku's a great leader too, without a doubt, but Iida feels completely in his element right now, and he looks really happy while doing it.

"...it ended up being this kind of bus anyway," Iida sighs, hanging his head in defeat. It turns out that filing into lines wasn't necessary, given the bus' layout. You think it's cute how passionate he is, though.

"Well, I give you an A-plus for effort," you beam, flashing him a thumbs-up. "Keep it up, class prez! You're doing great so far!"

Iida offers a weak smile. "Thank you for trying to console me, [Name]. I promise I won't make such a silly blunder next time."

"Don't worry about it. It's impossible to be perfect. I make mistakes all the time." You lean forward in your seat and furrow your brows. "Did you know that eating too many burgers can actually be bad for you? Talk about a rude awakening. Sometimes life is just full of surprises, I guess."

"Um. When you say too many burgers, you mean...?"

"I dunno. Back when I was a kid, I think I ate like five or six in one sitting? And then I threw up." You shake your head in disbelief. "It was completely unexpected."
