“Aliya! What‘s wrong? Bakit dito tayo nagkita?” tanong ko sa girlfriend ko. Hinihingal pa siya nang makarating sa akin. Our spot right now is hidden. People couldn‘t see us hiding here. And I don‘t know why we‘re hiding.
“My family found out I‘m in relationship with you—with a girl,” as she said that, I already knew what‘s the reason.
“Now I know... what‘s now, Liya? What we will do?” Natatakot ako. Natatakot na baka hanggang doon lang kami. Na may hadlang na talaga sa relasyon namin. Alam kong darating ang araw na ’to, kung saan malalaman ng parents niya ang tagong relasyon namin. My parents agreed to my relationship with her, since they knew I am not straight. But her parents... I really don‘t think so if they will approve us. Especially now that they found out.
“Hindi ko alam, I‘m scared. I‘m sure they won‘t agree with our relationship. But I don‘t want to happen that, Hanley. I‘m ready to lose everything, but please, not you. Just not you, baby,” I hugged her tight. And I couldn‘t help but to smile. I was wrong when I thought she‘d rather lose me than losing her parents’ trust.
“I love you, Aliya. I will face them, okay? I will fight for our relationship, I will fight for you, and I will fight my love to you. If they will disagree, then, run with me, baby.”
Oo nga‘t parehas kaming babae. Kasalanan man sa iba ngunit ang pagmamahal ang tumulak sa amin para gawin ang kasalanang sinasabi nila. Handa akong iwan ang lahat para sa kaniya. Handa akong itakas siya sa mundo niya at tumakbo papalayo.
