The next day dawned bright and clear, a perfect day for a celebration. Myra and Abhishek were both invited to Rohit's birthday party, a gathering that promised good food, great company, and lots of fun. As they got ready, the usual chaos and banter filled the apartment.

Myra was in her room, putting the final touches on her makeup. She wore a stunning blue dress that accentuated her features perfectly. Abhishek, dressed in a sleek black shirt, appeared at her door, leaning against the frame with a grin. "You ready yet? We're going to be late."

She turned to him, striking a pose. "How do I look?"

He took a moment to admire her, a genuine smile spreading across his face. "Absolutely gorgeous. But then again, you always do."

She rolled her eyes playfully. "Flattery will get you everywhere, Mr. Sharma."

They left the apartment, maintaining a casual distance as they walked to the car. Neither of them wanted to make their budding relationship obvious, especially not at a gathering where everyone would be watching.

The party was at a cozy, upscale restaurant that had been reserved for the occasion. As they entered, the familiar faces of their friends greeted them. Rohit, Ritika, Ishan, Surya, Devisha, and Jasprit were all there, laughing and chatting.

"Myra, Abhishek! Idhar Bhai Idhar!" Rohit called out, waving them over.

They made their way to the table, exchanging hugs and greetings. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming, filled with the camaraderie of long-time friends.

"Happy birthday, Bhaiyaa!" Myra said, handing him a small gift.

"Thanks, Myra!" Rohit grinned, giving her a bear hug. "Glad you could make it."

As the evening progressed, Myra and Abhishek found themselves drifting in and out of conversations with the others. They maintained their playful banter, their connection evident to anyone paying attention.

At one point, Myra noticed a girl sitting a bit too close to Abhishek, laughing at something he said and touching his arm. She felt a twinge of irritation but tried to brush it off. When Abhishek caught her eye, she gestured subtly, signaling that the girl was beautiful. Abhishek, catching on, gestured back, mouthing, "Not as beautiful as you, I think."

She rolled her eyes, fighting back a smile. Despite the slight jealousy, the reassurance felt good.

As the evening wore on, the conversation turned lively and animated. Myra shared stories from her hospital, making everyone laugh with her anecdotes. She had a natural ability to draw people in, and her bond with everyone at the table was clear.

"Yaad hai, when Myra tried to cook for us and almost burned the kitchen down?" Surya teased, causing everyone to burst into laughter.

"Arey yaar! That was one time!" Myra protested, laughing along. "And I’ve gotten much better since then."

"Yeah, thanks to me," I chimed in, earning a playful glare from her.

"Bhai, you should have seen it," Ishan said, grinning. "We thought the fire department would show up."

"Very funny," Myra replied, rolling her eyes. "You guys exaggerate everything."

"Only because it's true," Devisha added with a laugh.
"But we love you for it, Myra."

Myra leaned back in her chair, a satisfied smile on her face. "Well, I'm glad to be entertaining, at least."

The night was filled with moments like these—jokes, laughter, and a sense of belonging. As the party began to wind down, Myra found herself standing outside with Abhishek, taking in the cool night air.

"Tonight was fun," she said, leaning against the railing.

"It was," he agreed, standing next to her. "It’s always nice to be with everyone."

She glanced at him, a soft smile playing on her lips. "Thanks for coming with me."

He looked at her, his expression serious. "I wouldn't miss it for the world."

They stood in comfortable silence for a moment, the city lights twinkling in the background. Myra felt a warmth in her chest, a sense of contentment that came from being with him.

"Chale?" he asked after a while.

"Chalo," she replied, linking her arm with his as they headed back inside to say their goodbyes.

As they drove home, Myra rested her head against the window, her eyes growing heavy. The rhythm of the car and the comfort of Abhishek's presence lulled her into a peaceful sleep. Abhishek glanced over, his heart swelling at the sight of her so serene and beautiful.

He couldn't help but smile, his thoughts swirling. She had a way of making him feel things he never thought possible. He had always been composed, focused, but Myra brought out a side of him that was vulnerable and real.
What had she done to him, he thought.

He was so madly in love with Myra Gill. If someone had told him that a few months ago, he would have straight away laughed at them.

As the city lights blurred past, he reached over, gently brushing a strand of hair from her face. His heart raced with the realization that he had fallen for her, deeply and irrevocably. She had become his world, and he was ready to embrace whatever the future held for them.

When they arrived home, he carefully lifted her out of the car, carrying her inside without waking her. He laid her on the couch, covering her with a blanket, and sat beside her, watching her sleep. In that quiet moment, he knew that he would do anything for her, that he was completely, utterly in love.
