"Remember twenty-four?
And when I'm back in Chicago, I feel it
Another version of me, I was in it
I wave goodbye to the end of beginning"

Myra stepped out of the taxi, her heart racing with excitement. She was finally in Punjab, standing outside Shubman's house. It had been seven long months since she last saw him. The front door swung open, and Shubman stood there with a wide grin.

"Myraa! Finally decided to visit, huh?"

Myra rolled her eyes playfully. "Yeah, yeah, don't act so surprised, Shubhi. I missed you, okay?"

Shubman laughed, pulling her into a warm hug. "I missed you too, little sis. Chal."

As Myra entered the house, she was greeted by the familiar warmth and coziness of Shubman's home. Shahneel came over, giving her a hug as well. "Welcome back, Myra! How's Mumbai? "

"Busy but worth it," Myra replied, smiling. "Where's everyone else?"

"Mom and Dad are out running errands, and Abhishek is still in the city. He'll be here tomorrow," Shubman explained, helping her with her bags. "But for now, it's just us."

"Perfect," Myra said, grinning. "I could use some quality sibling time."

They spent the day catching up, sharing stories, and teasing each other like old times. Shubman had always been the goofy older brother, and even though he wouldn't admit it, Myra knew he had missed her just as much as she missed him.

In the afternoon, they decided to watch a movie. Myra made herself comfortable on the couch, and Shubman joined her, bringing a bowl of popcorn.

"So, what's the latest gossip in Mumbai?" Shubman asked, tossing a piece of popcorn in his mouth.

Myra laughed. "Not much, really. Just the usual hospital drama. But hey, I got some news."

Shubman raised an eyebrow. "Oh? Do tell."

"I think I'll be getting a promotion soon.," Myra said, unable to hide her excitement.

Shubman's face lit up. "That's amazing! I'm so proud of you, Myra."

"Thanks, Shubhi," Myra replied, smiling. "It's going to be tough, but I think I'm ready for it."

They continued chatting, their conversation flowing effortlessly. Myra couldn't help but feel grateful for moments like these. Despite the distance and their busy lives, their bond remained as strong as ever.

Later in the evening, as they were preparing dinner together, Myra couldn't help but tease Shubman about his cooking skills.

"Are you sure you know what you're doing?" she asked, eyeing the ingredients he was mixing.

"Of course, I do! I'm a pro," Shubman declared, puffing out his chest.

"Uh-huh, sure you are, Tell that Sara and she'll straight away laugh at your face." Myra said, laughing. "Just don't burn the kitchen down."

They worked side by side, laughing and joking, their sibling bond evident in every interaction. It felt like no time had passed since they last saw each other.

After dinner, they sat outside in the garden, enjoying the cool evening breeze. Myra looked up at the stars, feeling a sense of peace she hadn't felt in a while.

"You know, Shubhi, I've missed this," she said softly. "Just being here with you."

Shubman smiled, wrapping an arm around her shoulders. "I've missed it too, Myra. It's good to have you home."

As they sat there, surrounded by the familiar sights and sounds of Punjab, Myra realized how lucky she was to have such a loving and supportive family. No matter where life took her, she knew she could always count on them.

"Promise me you'll visit more often," Shubman said, breaking the comfortable silence.

Myra nodded. "I promise. And you better visit me in Mumbai too."

"Deal," Shubman replied, squeezing her shoulder. "Now, how about we raid the kitchen for some dessert?"

Myra laughed. "Sounds like a plan."

They headed back inside, their laughter echoing through the house. It was moments like these that reminded Myra of the importance of family and the unbreakable bond she shared with her brother. No matter where life took them, they would always have each other.

And as she fell asleep that night, Myra felt a deep sense of contentment, knowing that she was home, surrounded by love.
