Author's Note:
Hi guys. Like I announced, Cath, the original owner of this account, is not active at the moment so her sister (me) is taking over for a few days. A bunch of people PMed and commented telling me to update the book so due to fan demands, I am updating it eventually. I just asked Cath where the story was going and wrote the next two chapters myself. So here's the product. Enjoy!

Ding dong.
"I'll get it!" Jax Junior yelled. He ran down the stairs and opened the front door of their mansion to find Emma... with a little girl?
Junior pointed his hand at the little girl and looked up at Emma. "Who is she?"
Emma looked at Jessie and squeezed her hand, mentally telling her that they'll get through with this easily. "That's why I'm here, Jax. We need to talk."
Junior cleared his throat and fixed his tie. "I am not the real Jax, I'm Junior. The real Jax is at the backyard, waiting for you."
"Well can you please tell him I really need to talk to him? Now."
Junior nodded in response. He walked back to the Novoa's backyard, where Jax was: in a gazebo. This gazebo had a long curved sofa, a soft brown table in the middle, surrounded by some potted plants. There he sat, wearing a casual outfit.
"Jax, Emma wants to talk to you. She brought a little girl as well who looks quite familiar." Jax rushed back into the house as told.
_______
"NOOOOOOO!!!" Andi shouted. She banged her fist on her small beanbag chair in rage and kept her other hand pressing the controller.
As planned, Andi and Phillip were playing video games all night after the girls' mini hangout.
Mia silently groaned at the corner, annoyed by their frequent screams and chants. Yes, she was still at Andi's.
Apparently, Mia was stuck with them because she lost her keys and her Tía (who also lives in her house and has a spare key with her) went to visit her cousins & couldn't come back until tommorow, so she had to deal with them.
May God bless her soul.
"RUN TO THAT GAS STATION REAL QUICK. BRING ALL THE ZOMBIES YOU CAN WITH YOU." Phillip shouted, keeping his eyes on the screen.
Andi stopped moving, looking weirdly at her boyfriend. "Are you an idiot?" Phillip slapped her shoulder and pointed at the screen, and apparently, Andi was being chased by a horde of zombies.
Mia groaned once more, but I'm pretty sure no one heard it or they just thought it was the zombies.
"3..." The two gamers dug their nails into the controllers, swiftly flicking the thumbsticks and pressing the D-pads.
"2..." By this time, I'm pretty sure their controller's about to break.
"1..." Here we go.
"YES! DONE!" Phillip, Andi, and Mia shouted at the same time. Yes, Mia.
Mia gasped, "Does this mean we get to do something else now?"
"Nope, we still got..." Andi glanced at the screen then back to her, "...6 more rounds to go." She patted on her back as a way of saying: Deal with it.
The Kanay sunk in her own beanbag chair, drifting off to a land of complete irritation and boredom.
_______
"So you're telling me that this little girl is my little sister?"
Jessie snorted and rolled her eyes at his big bro, saying, "That's what she just said, Sherlock." Emma nudged her in response.
"I only have two sisters: Jeannie and Jackie, the twins. Dad never told me about-"
"Jax." Emma sighed. She looked into the wizards eyes while keeping a serious straight face, trying hard not to melt in his eyes at the moment. "Can we talk?" she finished, eyeing at the hallway. Jax, of course, followed along.
"Why don't you just take her in?" Emma whisper-yelled, spanking his shoulder.
Jax spat, "I can't."
"Why not?" she paused, crossing her arms. "Your dad left her all alone in the streets of Miami. Are you that cold hearted to do the same?"
Jax's heart sunk to his stomach when he was first told of how Jessie was treated by Jake and was dumped into Miami. It was bad enough that his dad treats them like shit, then it gets even worse when he didn't even tell his children that he had another family.
Jax inhaled deeply and smiled before replying, "Fine, I'll take her in."
The two shared a smile as they lived the moment. Speaking of which, Jax was instantly reminded of what he called Emma for in the first place.
He held a finger out and said, "Hold on a second." He ran to Junior and whispered something to him, making both Jaxes grin afterwards. Emma watched Junior lead Jessie up to original Jax's bedroom while the original Jax walks back to Emma.
"Come on." He held onto her hand, pulling her to the backyard.
It was dusk and it was so peaceful and quiet out here, just the way they liked it. There were small lights hanging on the edges on the gazebo and potted plants around.
Emma couldn't help but gasp when she saw the sight right in front of her. She immediately became insecure about her outfit when she did, as she thought that it wasn't formal enough.
Right now, she's just wearing a simple blouse and black leggings.
Jax immediately saw her reaction. "It's fine." He took her hand and squeezed it assuringly. "No matter what you wear, you still look beautiful."
The witch blushed at the wizard's compliment. They shared a smile and sat on the gazebo couches.
Both of them were still quite nervous; hands shaking, palms sweating, hearts skipping a beat when they gaze at each other, but they didn't mind what was around them.
It was just the two of them.
