It turns out, Leo Hunter wins in the end.
Since Jax could not further prove his innocence as he had no valid proof to present. Much to his, Emma's, and all his friends' disappointment, he had to go through with the banishment. Justice is served, as Leo claims.
Since Jake and Jax left, Jessie had no choice but to stay with her brother Julio. Though they had a rough past, she chose to give him another chance.
Emma... well... she didn't take it too well. She didn't necessarily go into depression but her joy didn't appear as much as it did before. She wasn't the old bubbly Emma anymore though she was still okay as she had her friends by her side.
To all of them, this marks the beggining of a new chapter of their life.
7 months later...
Emma
"You must be the Emma Alonso."
"As in the Chosen One, are we right?"
"Yep, it's me. And you are?"
"I'm Brad Hunter and this is my brother Ethan."
"We're the foreign exchange students from Sydney as replacements for Georgia Rose, Tamara Easton and Jax Novoa."
I winced as I heard his name. Jax Novoa. Never heard that in a while.
Andi nudged my arm. "What are you thinking about?"
I shrugged, continuing to shove my books in my locker. "Nothing, why?"
She chuckled. "Nothing? Girl, you were in deep thought. Don't tell me that's nothing."
"Fine, it was this weird dream of four Aussie foreign exchange students coming to school as replacements for Georgia, Troi, Tamara, and..." I trailed off, not wanting to mention the remaining name.
Andi noticed my expression. "Jax?" I nodded. She muttered, "That troublemaker..."
