"... and that was breaking up with you." Emma admitted to Jax, face to face. She never thought she'd see the day where she would admit such a thing but here she is.

The two soulmates couldn't help but smile widely. If they were truthful to themselves, they miss each other, they miss the times they would be called Jemma rather than Jax and Emma (esp. by Miss Information), they miss the times wherein their cute moments would make Andi gag, they miss cuddling around each other, being in each other's arms...

... the list goes on.

"We've been so much together." She laid her head on his shoulder (the one without a cast), embracing the moment. And of course, Jax couldn't help but lay his head on top of hers.

"Remember when you told me, I believe in my heart that you and I belong together?" she stopped to look at Jax's dazzling smile above her head, "Do you still do?"

"Of course, I do. I always do." He took her hand in his, giving it a reassuring squeeze. Her heart fluttered to his words.

Jax looked blankly at the sky, thinking of the moments they had. "I have to admit, I had a dream about us that felt so real." He shifted his gaze to Emma. "There were some crazy moments. I asked you out on our way home from the field trip and you said yes; I couldn't be even happier."

When Emma was in the middle of re-imagining what Jax was storytelling, but then, she realized that she, too, had the same dream. "And we froze time while we were at The Seven? But then, thanks to our awesome bonding and teamwork, we resolved it."

Jax's eyes widened. "You had the same dream?" The witch nodded. Cue the adorable smiles.

He chuckled, "You forgot to mention we flew to Paris only to have a romantic dinner." and playfully smacked her arm. She giggled at him. "We had a linked dream? Those are rare. We really must be soulmates." he said, half-jokingly.

Emma shrugged. "I couldn't agree more."

"Van Pelt, Madeline..." the teacher called out.

"Present and fabulous!" Maddie singsonged, annoying everyone in the class (except for Diego, ofc) especially Andi, who just mentally groaned at least two times already.

"Novoa, Jax..." no one responded.

Mia nudged Andi, jerking her head towards two empty seats that are usually seated. At first, she didn't get the clue, but after a few obvious details like the fact that Jax and Emma weren't present during History class was enough evidence.

"Alonso, Emma..." no one responded.

"Where do you think they ditched to?" Andi curiously asked.

"The hospital." Mia deadpanned. The two laughed. Andi faked a smile before preparing her small revenge plan for Maddie.

"Cruz, Andi..."

A sly smirk appeared on Andi's face as she targeted her eyes at Maddie, mocking her previous response. "Present and ferocious!"

Ugh. Maddie thought.

"Never have I ever thought that I'd see the day that we'd get together again." Jax confessed, putting his head down. They were still sitting on the log near the waterfall, floating magically by Jax's command.

Emma, however, patted on his back. "Same here."

Jax continued, a lump of sadness coming down his throat, "But you have a long distance relationship with Daniel so..." Emma's face was already full of confusion.

She half-yelled, "Since when?"

Jax's eyes widdened. "You're not?" Lesson learned: do not listen to Gigi Rueda.

She rapidly shook her head. "No!"

"So... what do you say? To us..." he lovingly looked into her dark brown eyes, getting lost in his thoughts. "...to Jemma..." he added, which made both of them laugh a little.

Emma smiled but she stayed silent, leaving Jax hopeless once more. "Oh." was all he can say. But Emma snapped back to reality instantly, answering, "Yes!" and giving him a big bear hug.

But once they pulled away, they knew that they could now do more than just a hug. They were lost in each other's eyes, thinking of how lucky they were to have each other. After all they have been through, they ended up together in the end anyway.

Jax then made the first move by cupping her cheek, drawing their lips closer to each other, having a short gentle kiss.

Jax thought, Nah, I could do more than that.

Next thing you know, they were already on smooth passionate kisses; Jax's arms were around her waist and Emma's were on his hair, ruffling it. Their minds thought nothing but of how much they love each other.

It was just Jax and Emma.

Emma and Jax.

Even better, Jemma.

But what they didn't know is that the log started moving closer and closer to the falls, which meant that they were already being drawn closer and closer to the impending doom of the tall falls.

They pulled away later on, catching up on their breath, and upon doing so, they were already three feet away from the edge of the waterfall; three feet away from dying.

They both screamed, "OH SHIT!"
