“Louisa, don't touch him.” Cheryl warned, but Louisa's doctor's instincts were already kicking in, and she couldn't help it.

She took his hand to check his pulse and realized he was still alive which made her have a little hope but the rate at which he was bleeding tells that he was going to die soon if she didn't do something.

“Louisa…"

“He needs to hold Cheryl, I know he isn't a part of the pack, and he is just a stranger but come on, look at him. Let's help him, please, put him on my back.” she shifted into her wolf form and her black eyes looked at Cheryl in a sad way.

“Ok fine.” Cheryl used all her strength to put the body of the unknown man on her back, and Louisa immediately ran in the back.

She knew Miles was stable on her back and that made her go faster before she lost balance. Soon enough, she got to the hospital.

Some nurses saw her coming and immediately had the sketcher ready. They took him and after Louisa had shifted back and out on some close, she ran in to check on him.

She had no idea why she was so restless because of a man she didn't even know, but perhaps it's because she didn't like the idea of seeing people die for no reason at all.

But again, she didn't know what had happened to him or how he ended up in their territory.

“Get the operation room ready, he isn't healing and has lost quite an amount of blood, so we have to make him start healing. Something is in his blood.” she yelled out, panicking for she certainly didn't want to lose this unknown patient of hers.

One of the doctors noticed how Louisa was panicking, and her hands were literally shaking, which made him take her hand and took her out of the operation room while another doctor attended to him.

“Take a deep breath Louisa, you're panicking.” he told her and tears filled her eyes.

“I'm sorry, Eric, I just found, and I don't know….”

“It's ok, we panic sometimes in the operation or when someone is about to lose their lives, but we have to save him or her. Go with Cheryl and wait for the operation. I'll take care of this. Cheryl!” Eric called out, and she immediately snapped her head towards his direction.

“Thank you for understanding, Eric.”

“The pleasure is all mine, don't worry, he will be fine.” With a smile, he left, and She took a seat on the waiting bench before Cheryl got to her.

“Hey what's wrong?” Cheryl asked with a trace of worry in her voice.

“I don't know why I feel so anxious, I don't even know him.”

“Come on Louisa, you panic when a patient is close to death. It doesn't matter whether you know him or not, but you will panic. Look at me…" She looked at her best friend with glassy eyes. “... Let Eric do the job like he always does when it comes to patients that are close to death. He is meant to live then it's ok, but if not, then the moon goddess needs him up there, and he will certainly be fine.” Louisa nodded her head and rested on Cheryl's lap.

Deep within Cheryl minds, she didn't like the man they found one bit. There was certainly something about him and kicked her unbalanced, but she couldn't quite tell.

After a while, Eric walked out of ten rooms with a happy grin on his face, and Louisa looked at him.

“Well! The operation was successful, and your patient is correctly asleep.” She let out a smile and hugged Eric.

“Thank you so much for helping me with this.”

“Come on, this is a normal deal between us, you don't need to thank me for it.” he let go of her and gave Cheryl a smile before he left.

“I told you Eric will handle everything, see! You don't need to worry, but you worry far too much.” Cheryl said, putting her elbow against her shoulder.

“You always made it a goal to rub it on me, don't you?” Cheryl let out a laugh.

“Of course I do, if I don't do it, then who will? Unless you have another best friend behind my back.”

“I could never.” Louisa laughed, and they walked into the room in which Miles was sleeping peacefully while a drip tube was connected to his wrist.

“He is pretty.” Cheryl said looking at him, and it made Louisa let out a laugh.

“Well, someone is in love!” She teased.

“Hey! I'm definitely not. I'm just saying he is pretty because he is now. Why don't we get out of here because we wake sleeping beauty up!” She pulled Louisa out of the room as she kept laughing.

The thought of him being here still disturbed Cheryl in some sort of way, but she was lying when she said he was pretty. She didn't mean to sound like a pervert by saying he was bloody gorgeous, as Louisa was certainly not going to let her live in peace.

“Louisa, are you alright?” She heard her father's voice in her head, which made her stop walking abruptly.

“I'm fine, dad, why are you asking?”

“One of the warriors told me that they saw you running with someone bleeding on your back, was that the warrior?”

“Errmm…" She trailed off, not really sure how to tell her father about the man she didn't know.

“What did you do, Louisa?”

“Well… The person isn't really from the pack. He was about to die, and I couldn't leave him like that.”

“Louisa…"

“I'm sorry dad, I knew I should have asked you, but I was panicked seeing him in that condition.”

“Is he a rogue?”

“Yes dad”
“Inform me when he wakes up, I'm certain that he is asleep, right?”

“Yes, dad, he is asleep.”

“Inform me when he wakes up, and I don't want him leaving that room. If he growls at anyone or wants to hurt anyone, have him chained to the bed.”

“Yes dad.” her father blocked the mind link, and she let out a sigh.

Her attention snapped back to her best friend, who was looking at her with a confused expression.

“What's wrong?”

“It's not, dad mind linked me about my whereabouts. It turns out that rumors spread quite fast about the unknown man.” Cheryl let out a laugh at Louisa's expression.

“You should be aware of your lovely pack members by now, they certainly love a good spice up.”

“Just shut up.” Louisa rolled her eyes.
