Louisa took a break from work and walked towards her offer to remove the things she had on, but then she came to a halt when she saw Miles sitting in a corner all alone rocking back and forth.
She wanted to go to her office but the fact that Miles could disappear before she came back hit her, and she decided to go to him.
“Miles" she called out, but he didn't respond. “... Miles… Jeez!” She gasped as she saw his eyes color which was red.
She touched him, and he immediately jumped and growled but when he realized that it was just her he held his legs to chest and continued staring.
“What do you want?” His voice was extremely deep which scared every crap in her away.
“Can you come with me please?” She put her hand out for him to hold, but he looked at her hand before pushing it away.
He jumped off his sitting spot and followed her to her office but when they both there, he noticed that Alpha Jackson was sitting down there with his arms crossed.
Louisa has mind link her father to come here because she knew that he was the only one capable of holding him down.
She didn't really have a choice, she needed to inject him with a sleeping drug for him to get able to sleep. She has tried on countless occasions to make him sleep, but it was always hopeless.
“Why did you call him here?” He snapped at her.
“Don't you dare talk to my daughter that way” Alpha Jackson stood up angrily and that seemed to have frightened Miles because he moved back.
“Dad calm down and Miles, please sit down.” He looked at her before taking a seat, and she looked at her father to do what he had to do to keep him still. “... Miles I'm going to give you a shout and I want you to stay still.”
“Stay away from me!” His eyes went black and his voice immediately changed, but Alpha Jackson was fast enough to hold him down before he attacked Louisa.
“Do it now!” Her father yelled, and she immediately injected him with the drug.
His body went weak automatically, and he looked fragile which made her burst into tears. Alpha Jackson let him lay on the couch, and he walked towards his daughter who was breaking down.
“Is he going to be alright?” She cried as he held her.
He knew how much his daughter loved the man before him. If that wasn't the case he would have gladly kicked him out of the house a long time ago, but what could be done in this situation?
“He will be fine sweetie, he just needs sleep, that's all. You can leave him in the office.”
“I'll sleep here with him, you need to go home, it's dark.”
“It's dangerous being here with…"
“No Dad, the lack of sleep was getting the best of him, and he is constantly thinking, you don't need to worry about anything I promise.” he looked at her completely unsure, but he needed to trust his daughter in this situation.
“Ok, if you need any help…"
“I'll mind link you. Have some rest Dad I'll take care of him and everything at the hospital you don't need to worry.”
“Ok sweetie.” he kissed her forehead before they both stood up.
He opened the door, and she waved as age saw her father leave before shutting the door to take a good night sleep.
She was stressed from work and completely worried about her mate but what could she do but wait for the mood goddess to create some kind of miracle somehow?
She kissed his forehead as she covered him with a blanket. He was knocked out cold so she knew he wouldn't really be waking up any time soon, but she did hope when he wakes up he is fine.
Taking the other blanket she wrapped it around her body before resting her head against the table to have some sleep.

“Miles!” She yelled as she saw him walking away, and she ran after him. “Miles please…"
“Leave me alone! I have had enough of this pack! What do you think? Your father will rule me all day like a prisoner in a pack, I have to fight with your best friend and brother every day and you? All you care about is your work, I don't like your mate or not, and thank you for saving me that day. I sincerely appreciate it, but I think it's time I leave this hellhole.” he turned around and left her crying.
“Are you really going to reject me Miles? After everything I have done for you?”
“Well unfortunately I didn't ask you to do any of these things for me, I could have handled it on my own. I have been doing that for years. I don't care about mate hell! I don't believe in that anymore so how about you do me a favor and go with your brother and let him find you a mate.”
“Tell what's the difference between you and your father now?” He was completely stunned by her question, but it made her completely angry." … He rejected your mother after all she had done for him, and she died after two years. Tell me what's the difference between you and your father."
“There is a difference, I didn't build a relationship with you.”
"But I did! Yes, we don't spend much time like we are meant to because you ignored me, but I used that moment to study you very well. I fell in love with you Miles''

“I'm sorry.” he walked away as they both felt the pain of the bond breaking, and he was out of the pack without looking back for a second.
Jordan ran up to his sister as she screamed in pain. She cried her eyes out while screaming, the pain seems impossible for her to bear.
She loved him so much and this was what she get for loving a man she longed to love
“Jordan, bring him back for me please”. She cried.
“Louisa." Her eyes flew open, and she saw Miles in front of her looking everywhere worried.
“You're… You're here"
“I'm always here" she hugged him tight as she burst into tears.
Miles furrowed his eyebrows confused but he held her as tight as he could.
