Miles's eyes flew open, and he immediately shut them back, for it felt as though he was burnt by the light. He slowly opened it back and looked around the room.

He certainly knew this was the hotel that he was meant to be at with his friends, so how the hell did he wind up In a hospital? He questioned himself.

He took up from the bed, but the drip tube drew him back, which made him look at it. He used his other hand to remove it from his skin, which hurt a bit, but he wasn't concerned about that.

The moment he opened the door he came face to face with a grumpy looking man, but when he sensed the power that surrounded him he realized that it was the Alpha of the pack he was in.

He immediately moved away from him, but Alpha Jackson was snot really having it. The rogue scent that was coming from Miles was causing him a headache, but he needed to do the interrogation.

“Sit down boy.” he said in a deep voice and out of respect he sat down on the bed.

Miles didn't know what to expect, he was in another pack, and he was fully healed, which was astounding. Soon enough, Jordan's brother walked in and had a look of disgust in his face while looking at Miles.

“What were you doing on my territory?”

“I have no idea how I got here, I was in human territory and I found myself here.”

“Human territory?”

“Yes sir, I was being chased, and I didn't have a choice but to go into human territory, for I feared that no pack is really going to accept me.”

“How long have you been a rogue?”

“Three years.”

“Why are you being chased? And why did you leave your pack?”

“My father banished me from the pack after being poisoned by my stepmother. My stepmother wants me dead, and that is why she asked some people to get me killed.”

“Son, you do realize I can't just trust you, right?”

“Of course, I promise I was leaving when you saw me walking out. I don't have any trouble or anyone looking at me very weirdly and always suspecting me of something.” Miles explained, and Alpha Jackson looked at him with a sad expression.

Deep within him, he knew that Miles was a good guy from the way that he was acting and responding, so perhaps it isn't a bad thing to accept him to the pack.

“You'll stay here.” Miles looked at him in nothing but shock and so did Jordan, who had just been sitting down there listening to the conversation.

“For me to have a close eye on you, you will stay in my house and will train with the warriors”
“Yes sir.”

“Call me Alpha.”

“Yes Alpha.” Miles bowed his head in submission.

He didn't really know what to do other than to accept the fact that an Alpha' just asked him to join their pack. A part of him thinks that this might be a bad thing, but he really hasn't stayed in any pack and Alpha Jackson seems pretty nice.

The door flew open and the scent of roses and wet soil hit him hard, and the moment a woman walked in he would have sworn that he had never seen anyone as beautiful as she was.

Louisa was stunned when he looked at the handsome features of miles. She felt as if no one else was in the room, it was as if everything had come to a halt, and she was enjoying every bit of it.

“Mate.” they both, and that made Jordan furious.

“You are not coming anywhere near my sister!” Jordan yelled and immediately pulled Louisa out of the room.

Miles barely figured out what was going on, and Jordan yelling didn't make it any better. He looked over to his new Alpha, who seemed frustrated with his kids.

“Let go of me!” Louisa yelled as she pulled her hand out of her brother's hands.

“I will not let you be with that disgusting rogue!” Jordan yelled, and Louisa was stunned as to how her brother was reacting.

“You know damn well how long I have waited for my mate, and you're telling me that I wouldn't be able to get with him?” She questioned.

“Yes. He is dangerous, Louisa, and you are certainly not worth him. You are an Alpha's daughter and I promise to find you a mate and he wi....”

“Enough Jordan! You are my brother, and you have absolutely every right to be protective, but you have no right to choose who I want to spend the rest of my life with.”

“Louisa, Jordan is kind of right. You don't know him and he is extremely dangerous being a rogue for goodness knows how long, he creeps me out and just agreeing to be his mate like that might cost you a lot.” Cheryl chipped in, and she looked at her best and her brother completely disgusted by their words.

"Jordan, when you found your mate I was literally the happiest person as though I were the one who found a mate and that same night I cried to the moon goddess for a mate. You guys are happy in your relationship and Cheryl you know what happened between you and your mate, so don't you dare try to make me repeat the same mistake. I trust that man in there even if I don't, and I will be with him, it doesn't matter if you both approve of it or not!"' she snapped.

Alpha Jackson heard his children's words for he was very close to the door, and he shook his head and looked over at Miles who was just staring into thin air.

“I'm so sorry about that, he is just being protective.” his voice brought Miles right out of his daydream.

“It's not a problem Alpha” Alpha Jackson walked out of the room and Miles could hear the screaming of both Louisa and Jordan out.

Miles never thought this day would come to hell! He even prayed that he wouldn't ever meet his mate, and now that he had found one he couldn't reject her because she was the alpha's daughter.

The idea of having a mate scared the shit right out of him due to what happened between him and his mother in the hands of his father. What could he possibly do in this situation?

The door opened, and she walked into the room with tears in her eyes.
