Louisa woke to the sound of the door opening and looked up to see Eric looking at her with a grin on his face. She was confused as to why the idiot was grinning, then she realized she was on the floor cuddle with Miles sleeping peacefully.

“Get out!” She snapped at him, but he only laughed.

“You have an operation to attend to at this die minute, and you're still on bed.”

“Eric I swear to the God…” She picked her slipper and threw it towards him, but he immediately went out and closed the door, making the slipper miss him.

She looked back at Miles, who was still sleeping. Perhaps the medicine did really pay off after all. She kissed his forehead before trying to stand up, but then she noticed that he had a tight grip against her hand.

“Miles let go of my hand.” she grumbled and tried to remove his hand from her.

After about five minutes she got her hand out and put it on the pillow, which he immediately grabbed. She looked at him weird before standing up from the floor.

She walked into the bathroom to take a bath and some change of clothes. She always carried extra clothes when she was in evening shift, for there was a chance of her sleeping in the hospital.

As soon as she was done, she noticed that he was still sleeping. She covered him with the blanket and walked out of the room before heading towards the operation room.

“Eric.” she called out as she saw him walking towards God knows where, and he turned around to look at her with a box in his hand.

“The operation is that way, why are you disturbing me?”

“Where is nurse Danielle, I haven't seen her, and she holds everything I use in the operation room”
“It's in my office now, do you mind me taking the heart to its owner!”

“You're crazy, you could have told me that.” she walked towards his office and opened the door to see Cheryl sitting down on their chair. “… What are you doing in Eric's office?” She asked curiously, but Cheryl, on the other hand, was not really having it.

“What's your business?”

“What's your problem? I have been trying to get your attention for days now, but all you do is ignore me. Did I do anything wrong?” She asked softly, but Cheryl just looked at her.

“You have an operation to attend to, so go.” She gave the box to Louisa before walking out of the room with a frown on her face.

Louisa was confused as to why her best friend was acting so weird but what was she really doing in Eric's office that she didn't have an idea off_ she thought.

She ignored the issue and walked out before heading towards the operation room quickly. She did hope that they had already started and weren't waiting for her like they always do.

Cheryl pushed the door open so hard and accidentally hit Miles, whose eyes flew open. It was noon, which made Louisa extremely busy with the children and Miles was finally awake.

“Were you sleeping in here?” Cheryl asked completely disgusted by his actions which he didn't mean to.

“Why do you have a problem with that?” He rests his head on the couch as he sat up.

“Excuse me, dump head! If no one ever told you that this is a hospital and not your room, then I'm going to tell you that. You're a grown up man, so how about you act your age and stop being stupid?” He looked at her silently for a few seconds before laying back down on the blanket. “… Don't you feel shameless…"

“Cheryl!” He said in his Alpha tone that scared the shit right out of her.

He might not be the Alpha of any pack but both his mother and father were Alphas which make him Alpha blooded fully, and he is compelling.

“I have heard enough rubbish coming from your mouth. You don't like me sweetheart I don't care about that but don't you dare insult me or anyone in that family because of your stupidity and want for attention, you're not innocent in any way Cheryl and you that damn well so do me a favor and get out immediately!” His voice was cold and something she was unable to resist, so she left with her head hanging.

Louisa watched as she walked out of the room and towards the four of the hospital, she tried calling her back, but she didn't turn around for even a second.

She walked into the rook to see that Miles was sitting down with a frown on his face and his head on the couch while sitting down with his eyes closed.

“Are you ok?” He looked at her and let out a sigh.

“Just a headache I guess, what was inside that injection?”

“It's just a sleeping medicine. It should have worn off by now, take some water. '' She gave him the glass, and he had it before getting a slight cough due to the water. “… Be careful.” She rubbed his back in circles, and he finally stopped.

“Cheryl is really getting on my nerves.”

“That certainly is the reason she left like that, can't you both settle for something?”

“I try not to let the fury get the best of me but of course she doesn't stop audit just irritates me more and more. I'm not going to lie. I try to get along with her because of you, but enough is enough, tell her to stay away from me, or I will kill her one day, and you won't blame me for it.” she let out a sigh knowing that he could literally do that, but she didn't know what to do about it.

The two were on each other's neck, and she loved them both so much. She brushed the hair out of his face, which made her smile, and he grabbed her waist and pulled her to his laps.

“I have work to do Miles"
“Can I talk to you tonight?”

“Sure, but I think you need to apologize to dad and Sophie for being rude. Your lack of sleep really destroys people's feelings.”

“I'm sorry, I have to apologize to you first. I hurt you the most and even if you wouldn't tell me, I found out through your dream last night, I'm so sorry about what I did.”

“I understand the situation and I totally forgive you.”

“How do we stop your dreams, though? It's the second time you are having it.”

“Nah I have nightmares every night sometimes I tell dad about it, and sometimes I just keep to myself. The only time I don't get nightmares is when I sleep with you.”

“Me too.”
