Miles watched the stars as it shined along with the moon in the dead of night. He couldn't sleep, and he was unable to do anything at all.

At this point, he wished that a miracle should happen so that he would gladly go back to where he came from without all this being with him. He felt as though he was trapped within the pack, and he had absolutely no idea on what to do.

He noticed a cat moving from left to right playing on its own, and he thought to himself to just go down and play with the cat. I mean if they were both awake and lonely it wouldn't really hurt.

Opening the door to the room he looked from left to right, and he let out a sigh of relief when he didn't see anyone. He feared anything, but he wanted to be alone all the time.

The only company he had for the past three years was his best friend apart from that anyone that came his way was more of an enemy than a stranger to him.

He knew damn well that nothing was going to happen to him while he was here, and it was a good thing but Louisa creeped him out. He didn't hate her one bit but something in he told me to just lay off her, and he was trying to.

When he got there the cat looked at him in a strange way but didn't run away and Miles really did hope that the cat didn't do that.

“I'm not going to hurt you.” he put his hand out for the cat, and the cat slowly came forward.

While wandering in the forest, he came across so many animals, but he was mostly around cats because they were everywhere he went.

“Good little kitty, what are you doing here all alone?” He asked, knowing that the cat wouldn't respond.

He had grown so used to being with them that he talks to them like he talks to people which sometimes made Mitch distressed. Again Mitch figured that it was just him being lonely.

Mitch couldn't be with him all the time he had a lot of work to do back at the pack, and he had his parents to take care of.

Not a day went by that they both didn't think of each other but what choice do they have other than to let what will happen but that didn't make the bond between them fade.

Mitch and Miles have been friends since diapers, and he was there to support his best friend all the time even when Miles's mother died. Though it was a tragic incident, he could never forget, but he will forever be grateful for all Mitch had done for him until date.

He rubbed the cat's fur had he stared into thin hair but s voice from behind made him to jump a little and the cat ran away which made him angry.

“Did you really have to do that?!” He questioned angrily while looking at Jordan but all he did was laugh.

“For all I care.”

“Ok Jordan, I didn't bring myself here, hell! I don't even understand how I got here, but I did and the idea of you bugging me every single second is very disturbing!” He snapped.

“Dude calm the hell down, you're talking to the next alpha in a lie I think you should learn some respect.”

“Respect? You can't even treat your sister well, and you are asking me to respect you.”

“Mind your language…"

“And leave me the hell alone!” He tried to walk past him, but Jordan held his upper hand and pulled him back before punching in the jaw.

Luckily, it didn't break, but Miles was definitely not going to let any of this slide. He kicked him real hard, gave him a headlock before giving him a punch square in the face making his nose bleed.

Jordan growled angrily as his eyes glowed gold. His wolf was controlling his body and Miles knew he would shift at any moment, but it certainly mattered to him because he had fought with his father many times and still didn't die.

Miles held his fist the moment he tried to punch him and gave him a great twist, and he heard the snap of bones. He was shifting in his wolf and miles were so ready for him.

One of his ankle.was hurt due to the hand twist Miles had given him. In the midst of the fight, Jordan clawed him against the face which made him start to bleed.

Louisa's eyes flew open due to the pain she felt on her face but when she touched it, she felt nothing which only meant it was Miles.

She immediately stood up from the bed and ran out of her room. She ran towards her room as fast as she could. She didn't know what had happened, but it certainly felt bad.

She stopped as she felt as though someone had clawed her back, and she was so close to tears. She blinked the tears away and opened the door to his room, but she couldn't find him.

Which was totally strange, so she walked towards the balcony but didn't see him. She heard a growl and looked at the courtyard, then she saw them going against each other fully.

She ran as fast as she could downstairs and the moment she opened the door, a wolf came flying towards her which made her immediately move from the way.

She looked outside to see Miles breathing heavily with his eyes glowing gold, and he looked at her the moment he perceived her scent.

Her brother had passed out in wolf form, and she wondered what in the world brought the both of them together in the first place, that too in the middle of the night.

“Father get up!”

“Jeez! Lady, I warned you to stop…"

“If Miles and Jordan weren't at each other's neck, I wouldn't have woken you up!” She snapped and immediately regretted it, but she really wasn't in a happy mood.

“I'm coming down.” she blocked the mind link and when she looked back to the position that miles was he was gone which made her panic.

She looked outside to see if he was anywhere, but she couldn't even see a glimpse of his shadow. He heard her father's footsteps and looked at him.

“What the hell happened here?”

“Well Jordan is unconscious and Miles is nowhere to be found. I'll find him.”

“Louisa…"

“He is my mate and I know he wouldn't hurt me, take care of him.” her father went speechless, and he looked at his unconscious mind and wondered how the hell he was unconscious and Miles wasn't.
