Alpha Jackson walked downstairs and noticed the tension that lingered around the room, and that's when he realized that his son and daughter were sitting in different places eating their breakfast with a frown on their faces.

This was so unusual, but he knew it was because of the fight that happened last night that made me tense everywhere.

“Louisa came over here.” he said as he took a seat close to Jordan and Jordan stood up to leave, but he pulled him back down. “... Sit down.”

“Dad, you know I have a lot of work to do today.”

“I've had enough of both of you and until you settle the problem between yourselves you are not allowed to leave this couch, it doesn't matter if it takes a whole year.” he made them both sit on one couch, and they looked at their father in horror.

“What if Miles needs me to do something?”

“Yes dad, Sophie will need me with the baby.”

“Nah, I think they can take care of themselves.” he said looking upstairs and they both turned around to see Miles and Sophie having fun with the baby in Miles arms.

“You have got to be kidding me? He doesn't even like to hold a baby!” Louisa said in disbelief, and her father let out a laugh.

“Well babies are contagious, and I think he just got the diseases so you can't stop. You two get long, or you sleep on this couch forever. You know damn well that your father will know if you get up from the couch even if he isn't at home.”

“Fine dad.” they both grumbled, and he let out a chuckle while shaking his head.

Miles looked at her downstairs with an apologetic look on his face. Alpha Jackson had forced them to stay away from both Louisa and Jordan until they patch things up, but he was kind of happy about the situation, at least he gets time to himself.

“Alpha is waiting for you outside.” Sophie told him, and he handed the baby over to Sophie before walking out of the house, not sparing Louisa a single glance.

Miles accidentally bumped into Cheryl on his way out which made her growl, and he put his hand up in surrender, not really wanting any trouble so early in the morning.

“Why do you smell like her?” She asked, sniffing his body and he looked at her with a raised eyebrow.

“Should your question be delivered to the moon goddess so she could give you a direct message?” He asked in a sarcastic tone, which made her frown.

“It's a simple question.”

“I think the 'S' in simple stands for stupid
“ he walked away leaving her jaws on the floor.

She walked inside and noticed that Louisa and Jordan were sitting on the chair staring into thin air, and she figured that they were in detention that was placed by their father because there was a sign that clearly states 'no Cheryl or any friend around including loved ones.'

She knew damn well to just turn around and leave but when she saw Allah Jackson and Miles talking she was curious so she hid herself and masked her scent with the help of her wolf.

“Who are you son? I'm curious as to how you beat my son up.” her eyes widened as she heard.

She was curious as to what she had missed because the fight between Jordan and Louisa ended at the hospital. Did something perhaps happen with Jordan and Louisa? She was really curious.

“I… I'm the son of an Alpha, I'm sorry I can't tell you which Alpha and I do hope you understand what I mean.”

“Certainly son but I would love to test your abilities. You certainly wouldn't be staying all day in the house or hospital flirting with my daughter.”

“Of course sir, what do you need me to do?”

“You'll go against warriors and I will love to see you fight against Cheryl.”

“Louisa's best friend?”

“Yes, she's a ranked warrior and I wouldn't risk other warriors life's with you.”

“I could hurt her in the blink of an eye. It really doesn't matter how strong she was. You meant want to keep her out of this, and there's a probability of Louisa killing me for even attempting that.”

“Oh no, that's a punishment for Cheryl and Louisa has no say when I decide to punish her.”

“Is the bad deed so bad that you want her life at stake?”

“Her life isn't at stake, I know you wouldn't kill her even if you don't like her. You really don't like anyone around here.”

“I still don't think this is a great idea.”

“You have no say and don't.go easy on her, I'm warning you kid I can be very brutal in a funny way. Cheryl, how about you get out of your hiding spot.” Cheryl immediately shut her eyes, knowing that she had been caught and didn't really have a choice.

She walked out with a frown on her face, and he looked at her completely disgusted. Miles didn't like people. It was an understatement, but Cheryl he certainly hated for no reason at all.

“How many times do I have to tell you to stop snooping around child?” Alpha Jackson asked in a serious tone.

“I'm sorry Alpha, it will never happen again.”

“It certainly will, but I do hope you learn your lesson this time. In human form no wolf allowed until after thirty minutes I don't care what you both do but do not kill each other I am very much awake of the hate between you both.” he left them staring at each other, but he had them watched.

Cheryl backed down, not wanting to fight one bit, but she knew damn well that she couldn't disobey their Alpha and the Colonel was watching with a frown and Miles had the same expression as she did.

“Well someone is certainly afraid of a little fight” he teased her which made her furious, but she didn't say a word “... What happened to your mate though?” He asked, and she looked at him with furrowed eyebrows.

“That's none of your business!” She snapped.

“So you did have a mate, I'm surprised I haven't seen him around or did you…" She growled at him, but he just let out a laugh.b"… Aww, poor little wolfy having a bit of a relationship problem."

“Stop!” She yelled at him but he was totally unbothered.

“Stop!” He mimicked her, “... Come in now girl…" He trailed off as he caught her fist before she hit him on the fist. “... That is definitely not how to take me down, try this.” he twisted her wrist and she let out a bloody scream.
