Walking through the woods in the dead of night, she stumbled upon rock which made her groan. She was lost, and she just couldn't tell how she got in the woods in the first place.

She couldn't see any houses or pack close, which only meant she was outside her, and it really didn't seem right.

Something wasn't right, she could feel it, but she was unable to tell what. She continued to walk in one direction and soon enough she saw a light from behind her.

She furrowed her eyebrows confused and turned around to see a woman was exactly like. her just the older version, and she was stunned by how similar they really were.

“My child!” The woman called out, putting her hand out to Louisa to hold but fear had stricken her for she just couldn't even get two words to go together.

“Who are you?” She asked after a few minutes and the woman gave out a soft laugh that seemed orderly familiar.

“It's s me, your mother. I know you haven't seen me in ages, but I'm here now. Would you like.to have some fun?”

“No you're not my mother, I don't who she is, but you aren't my mother” Louisa ran as she could be away from her but within the blink of an eye she was in front of her again.

“Come honey, don't run away from me. Remember how I used to cuddle with you when you were young, it's normal to forget honey, but I'm here now.”

“No!” She yelled out of horror, and she heard the faint sound of her father's voice which made her a bit happy.

She followed the voice as fast as she could but when she got there, she was too late. His hand slipped, and he was falling off the waterfall.

Perhaps she was going to meet him down there. She did know her father was a great swimmer, so she really must loose hope.

“Oh honey, he is gone, you have me all to yourself now.” she jumped the moment she heard her mother's voice and accidentally slipped off.

“Leave me alone!” She yelled, but her mother gave out a wholehearted laugh while looking at her.

“Oh honey I hate to do this, but you are just as useless as your father.” she stepped on Louisa's hand, and she let out a scream.

Louisa looked at her mother with pleading eyes, but she raised her legs and Louisa fell off the cliff and down the waterfall.

Her eyes flew open with a scream, and she realized that Miles had been looking at her turn left and right the entire time.

“So the horror finally happened?” He asked sarcastically.

“Why are you always mean? You know waking me up from that dreadful sleep would have been better off.”

“That wouldn't be fun, I wouldn't get to see the look of horror on your face but that aside you father has been looking for you every, and he can't reach your mind link.” Louisa looked at him in disbelief.

“You really need to know what emotions are called” she grumbled, but he heard her.

“I think I rather not, taunting you every morning seems to be an excellent idea.” he gave her a fake smile before walking out of the room.

Louisa couldn't really figure out what was going on with him these past few days. He was always grumpy and mean even to her father it seems like he wanted to get kicked out of the house.

She tried to talk to him on so many occasions but like always it failed. Her father punished him but at some point Alpha Jackson got tired of doing that.

She walked out the bathroom and dried herself up before curling her hair entirely. It was the first time she was doing it and surprisingly, she looked cute.

She put on some black pants and an oversized t-shirt before opening the door, and she let out a scream when she saw Miles standing there looking all crazy.

“What the hell are you trying to do?”

“Give you a heart attack, sweetheart, how about we have breakfast.”

“Get away from me.”

“Oh gladly honey” he walked the opposite direction where Sophie was standing looking at them. “... Oh, sister! Where's she?” He asked, feeling excited to see the girl.

“Miles, when was the last time you slept?”

“A month ago, why?”

“Oh no… Did you say a month?”

“Yes, now where is Blakely?”

“She's asleep, and you need to get some sleep, that certainly explains the reason you have been so grumpy.”

“I can't sleep, I'll have nightmares of him. Bye! Tell her I told him” before she got to say another word he ran off.

Sophie looked at Louisa who has been standing there looking at them and she put her hand out for her to come closer which she certainly did.

“You need to get him inside a room, he hasn't slept in a month Louisa, that's crazy!”

“He doesn't let go of the chance to annoy me every single day. Did he tell you why he hasn't slept?”

“Nightmares about a man, I guess it's a memory I can't really tell, but he is truly terrified of this man.”

“That's weird, Miles gives out a hard exterior and isn't even scared of dad. Who could this man possibly be?”

“His father is brutal, extremely brutal. I don't understand why he was kicked out but whatever it is you need to talk him out of that fear because he is definitely going crazy” Alpha Jackson walked out of nowhere and chopped into the conversation which made Louisa confused.

“How do you know his father?”

“I saw him at the meeting I attended a month ago, he looks like him so much, just the older version of him. I have heard stories about him and I confirmed it. His stepmother wants him dead, he might show a hard exterior that's a normal thing for a man. You will barely see a man in a depressed state, but he is going crazy and that's why he is always angry for no reason at all.”

“But dad, how am I going to do this?”

“You know him better than anyone.”

“I can't even spend five minutes in a day with him, being around him without him making me angry.”

"He is trying to get under everyone's skin. He has certainly gotten to you, Jordan and Cheryl. If he get to me, he knew that he will be out of the pack and definitely out of your life, and we can't let that happen.''

“Why?” Sophie asked.

"Because his killers are waiting for him outside the pack."
