“I'm sorry.” Louisa heard her brother and she looked towards him. “... I'm sorry, I know I shouldn't have done what I did, but I just don't trust him.”

“You don't trust anyone at first sight, hell! You didn't even trust your mate the first time you saw her.”

“I know I have trust issues, but you're my sister and I don't like the idea of him being your rogue and your mate, they can be really ruthless.”

“Let him stay with us for a while before you judge him Jordan. You have always had trust issues and I have warned you several times today to stop judging a book by its cover. You're going to be an alpha some day, and you can't lead if you don't trust your people.”

“I understand what you mean, and I'm sorry about that. Can you forgive me?”

“On one condition.” he looked at her curiously.

“What is it?”

“You will apologize to both Miles and Sophie.”

“Not to Miles.”

“Then we are sitting down on the couch forever.” She rested her head on the chair handle and closed her eyes to take a nap, but the scream of her best friend made her immediately sit up.

“I'll apologize to him.” She looked at him for a few seconds to see whether he was telling the truth or not. “... I'm telling the truth, I will apologize to him.”

“Fine.” They hugged each other and their father smiled at them from upstairs before darting through the halls and to his office.

Louisa ran outside following the cry of Cheryl and the moment she saw them she frowned. She wanted to interrupt, but the Coronel stopped her.

“It's an order from the Alpha and let's say he got under her skin.” She immediately stepped away from the fight.

She knew her father was not just going to let them fight for no reason but whatever this fight was about it was certainly not for testing strength because they were going against each other really hard but what surprised her was the fact that Cheryl was badly injured, and he only had a scratch against his upper arm.

She watched silently as he took her hand and punched her elbow backwards before she got the chance to pull her hand out. They all heard a loud crack along with Cheryl scream.

He immediately backed away from her, but she went to him even if she was in pain. There was no emotion on his face; it seemed as though he had no emotions at all.

“Oh honey! Don't you ever give up?” He said while pressing against the hand that her elbow was broken.

Louisa wanted to stop them so badly but she could feel her father's stare on her, and he already asked her not to interrupt the fight.

Cheryl swung her leg to give him a kick in where the sun doesn't shine, but he caught it before dislocating the bone and putting it back where it's meant to which made her fall to the floor feeling fragile.

She screamed in fear, but Miles simply weren't concerned about a thing for he just checked his nails while leaning in a tree which made Louisa look at him in disbelief.

But of course what did she expect? Her brother had a broken rib after they fought last night, so Cheryl's will just end up being extremely worse than she actually thinks.

“Cheryl don't!” Alpha Jackson mind linked her as she tried to get up from the floor while glaring at Miles who simply wasn't concerned about a thing.

He got downstairs and when reached the position where they were fighting he allowed Louisa to take her to the hospital and asked Miles to take a rest in the room.

Alpha Jackson was extremely curious as to who Miles's father really was. It was easy to fight Cheryl and take her down as an Alpha's son but how was she able to take over his son who almost took him down at some point in training.

He checked through the file in his office but no Alpha had a missing or banished child which made him curious. Miles was not lying about being an Alpha's child for he could literally sense the power coming from him but whoever this Alpha is he was certainly not grateful for having a son.

Alpha Jackson came across a letter which was sent to him by one of the many alphas. They were having a meeting tomorrow, and he needed to be present in the meeting. Perhaps he will meet Miles' father or not.

Miles sat on the bed looking at a tattoo on his right elbow when all of a sudden the door flew open, and he immediately rolled his sleeves down.

“What's got your panties all wet?” He asked Louisa for she looked extremely furious and she closed the door.

“Seriously?”

“What?!”

“Cheryl is my best friend, and you chose to hurt her so badly? Seriously, didn't you think of how I would feel about it.”

“I did, but your father certainly did not. He asked me not to go easy on her and I told him I would rather not fight with her.”

“But you did.”

“Nah! She attacked me. I was messing with her mind and for a warrior, she's really lacking behind if she fell for that trick.”

“And who are you to question her skills?” The moment she asked that question she regretted it immediately, but he didn't allow her to speak again.

“I'm just a mean person, always sarcastic, I don't know how to feel and unfortunately for you, I'm your mate so how you get out, care about your best friend and leave me the hell alone!” He snapped, not regretting a single one he said before walking to the balcony not really liking her presence anymore.

Louisa was in shock as to what his words said, but she left. She had crossed the line with that question and his reaction was totally understandable.

He already didn't like the fact that he was in the pack and the fact that he had a mate, but he is trying everything in him to actually care about something after his mother died, but she really wasn't giving him the chance to do that.

Louisa wiped the tears that almost fell off her eyes as she sensed her brother getting closer to her, and she looked up to see him looking at her.

“What's wrong?” He asked her, feeling worried.

“Nothing, I just feel upset about what happened to Cheryl.”

“Dad had placed that order, he didn't do it on purpose. I know I don't trust him but dad told me that so you just have to go with it.”
