Kailah

I take off my jacket and put it on the hanger, I can still feel Taehyung's gaze on me, watching all my moves from his seat on the kitchen's stool

I walk towards him once I take off my boots

" I didn't know you would be there " I say softly as I stand in front of him with my hands on my hips

He pulls me to him by my waist as his head rests on my belly

" If you want me to leave, I will "

I lift his head with my palms, he looks so... different, too calm

" No, that's not what I meant, I'm just surprised cause I didn't know you would be back here this early since you live in your family's mansion "

His arms around my waist tightens

Why do I feel like something is wrong?

" I just wanted...to get some fresh air, I honestly have no idea how I ended up here " he says in a low voice

I frown

" Is there something... wrong? " I ask hesitantly

He sighs heavily as he turns his head away to avoid my eyes

" What happened Tae? " I ask softly

" Let's say that I had an argument with my mother "

" About what? " I dare to ask, even though it shouldn't be my business

He looks at me for a moment then exhales

" About something very... ridiculous, and the thing is, I know I'm right for expressing my thoughts about it, but I'm still feeling guilty for talking back to my mother "

I look at him tenderly

This is so Taehyung...

He is too sweet for this world

I sit astride his lap and his arms wrap around me

I look at him in the eyes

" You do not have to feel guilty about it if you were right, I'm sure everyone will agree with me on this, your mother should feel guilty, not you "

" You don't know my mother... I've never disobeyed her before, maybe I should have had just played cool instead of talking back "

" You know what one of my aunts used to say? No one gives you freedom, you take it...if you keep playing cool and lower your head everytime even if she is the one in the wrong, you'll always be under her control "

He smiles slightly

"Why did your aunt tell you such a thing? Were you planning a revolution? "

I chuckle

" My parents and five brothers were against me getting my first tattoo at seventeen "

" The tiny butterfly in your back ? " He asks

I wanted to ask how did he know but I remember that he had me all naked in his arms yesterday night and even this morning

I nod

" Yes, my first tattoo "

" Why did you get a butterfly? " He asks, low-key curious

I smile at him, still sitting comfortably on his knees

" It's my middle name, Mariposa, in Spanish it means butterfly "

The same kind of thing you give me in the stomach I wanted to add, but I know better not to
