The door opens and my nephew runs towards me with his little legs

" Tiaaaaaa !!! " He screams happily

" Mi amor! " I say lovely

I bend down to take him in my arms, his little arms hugging me so tight

" How are you doing corazon? "

" I missed you Tia Kai, you rarely come here " he says with his childish tone

I smile at him

" Oh, that's because Tia Kai is a little busy lately, but I promise I'll try to come more often, okay? "

He nods his head with his big sparkling eyes filled with joy and hope

" Oh this is for you...hope you'll forgive me not being a full time auntie " I say to my nephew as I give him the truck toy I bought him

" Stop spoiling this kid Penelope " says my brother with annoyance as he comes to meet me in the entrance

My brother smiles at me

I look at my nephew

" Why don't you go to play with your new toy mi amor? "

The little boy runs to the living room and I stand up

" What's for dinner? " I ask with a pout

He laughs as I walk past him

" Where's your boyfriend? I thought you would have come with him " he says, walking behind me

" What boyfriend? " I ask nonchalantly

" Didn't you tell Eliana that you were seeing someone ? "

I roll my eyes, I forgot that my brother's wife always tell him everything

" He's not my boyfriend... we're seeing each other, that's all... he's a close friend "

He laughs, amused

" Oh Kailah! Finally! " Says my sister in law when she sees me coming
