It's the day before my best friend's wedding, and my mind is running rampant with emotions. BSF/N and I have talked about this day forever, and now her moment has finally arrived. It's truly bittersweet, but I'm so excited to be a part of this chapter in her life.

As we arrive at the picturesque wedding barn, my heart races with anticipation. The rustic charm of the venue makes everything feel even more magical.

BSF/N leads the way as me and the rest of the bridesmaids follow behind. When she spots her fiancé Jesse and runs and practically jumps into his arms.

My heart skips a beat when I see him-C/N, standing among the groomsmen. He looks so handsome it makes my heart ache in the best way possible. If he looks this good in a button down and khakis, how good is he going to look in his suit tomorrow? The thought makes my pulse quicken.

F/N must have noticed my reaction because she gives me a knowing smile. "Y/N, you know you are staring right?"

I blink harshly and shake my head. "No actually." I take in a shaky breath making her giggle.

F/N teases, nudging me playfully. "Your crush is showing."

Before I can retort, BSF/N gathers everyone's attention.

"Okay guys we're going to pair you up and then we'll get this show on the road." She looks to me, "Y/N, you'll be walking with C/N. As maid of honor and best man, you two are leading the way."

I feel my face flush. "Sounds good." I glance at C/N and he gives me a smile and a thumbs up. They get all of the couples situated and we wait for the music to start.

"This is crazy." C/N's voice fills my ears and I turn to find him about 5 inches away from me.

I shake my head as I realize he was talking to me. "I'm sorry?"

"It's crazy that they only give us one night to rehearse for the biggest event of their lives." He shakes his head as he examines the barn. "I mean what if we get mixed up tomorrow?"

I shrug my shoulders at his statement, "I'm sure Jesse wouldn't get mad-"

"Oh it's not Jesse I'm worried about." He chuckles before pointing to BSF/N. "It's her I'm worried about."

I snicker and pull his hand down, "Everything will be fine, C/N. You worry worse than a woman does."

He scoffs and rolls his eyes. "After that comment, I might just trip you tomorrow."

I gasp dramatically, "You wouldn't dare."

"Oh I would, N/N." He narrows his E/C eyes at me, in a playful way of course.

"Okay everyone, line up!" The wedding coordinator shouts.

As we line up, C/N offers me his arm. "Shall we?"

I take a deep breath and nod, slipping my arm through his. "We shall."

The music starts, and we begin our walk down the aisle together. My heart races, not just from the rehearsal but from being so close to C/N. His arm is strong and warm under mine, and the chemistry between us is undeniable.

As we reach the end of the aisle, I lean in and whisper, "See? We've got this." I smile up at him and he nods in agreement.

The rehearsal continues, but my mind is only half on the proceedings. The other half is focused on C/N. By the time the rehearsal wraps up, I'm both exhilarated and anxious about what tomorrow will bring.
