The late afternoon sun cast a warm glow across the park as I sat with C/N and a couple of our guy friends at the picnic table. We were all chatting, swapping stories from the week and catching up on random life updates. I was sipping my iced coffee, quietly enjoying the conversation when, of course, the topic inevitably turned to relationships.

"So, F/N, how's it going with that girl you were talking about last time?" one of our friends asked, nudging him playfully.

F/N shrugged, trying to act cool, but the smirk gave him away. "We're hanging out. Nothing official, but it's going well."

C/N scoffed, leaning back in his seat, arms crossed over his chest. "Hanging out, huh? Sounds like you're stuck in the friend zone, man."

Everyone laughed, including me. The banter between the guys was always a bit ridiculous, but it was entertaining to watch.

Then C/N's attention shifted to me, and I could feel his eyes on me before he even spoke. "What about you?" he asked, his voice casual but a little too curious. "Are you seeing anyone?"

I paused, caught off guard by the question. My heart skipped a beat, but I played it cool, taking another sip of my coffee. "Yeah, actually," I said, glancing up at him. "I am."

His eyebrows shot up, and I noticed the other guys exchange knowing glances. They seemed ready to dive into a million questions, but it was C/N who pressed forward. "Oh yeah? And who's the lucky guy?"

I bit my lip, feeling the heat rise in my cheeks. I hadn't expected this much interest. "It's... someone."

C/N narrowed his eyes at me, clearly not satisfied with that answer. "Someone?" He forces a laugh. "That's all you're giving us?"

I shrugged, trying to appear nonchalant. "Yep."

The guys laughed, but C/N wasn't letting it go. He leaned forward, resting his arms on the table, his eyes locked on mine. "Come on, you can't drop a bomb like that and not give us any details."

"Funny. You seem to be the only one interested in the details." I retort making our friends laugh.

C/N guides his tongue along his teeth as he narrows his eyes. "How long have you been seeing him?"

I shifted, not wanting to say too much. "A while."

"A while," he repeated, clearly unimpressed with my vague answers. His curiosity was only growing, and I could feel the intensity of his stare. "So, what's the deal? Is it serious?"

"Maybe," I replied, my face feeling hotter by the second.

C/N smirked, sensing my discomfort. "Does he even know he's in a relationship, or are you just secretly stalking him?"

I playfully swatted his arm, rolling my eyes. "Very funny."

But C/N wasn't finished. He tilted his head, his expression turning more serious, almost frustrated. "So... does he want you or not? Because he's holding up the freakin' line."

His words hit me like a ton of bricks. I felt my face flush, and my heart sped up. The guys all went quiet, clearly sensing the change in tone. I blinked at C/N, caught off guard by how direct he was being.

I opened my mouth to say something, but nothing came out. His eyes were still on me, watching my reaction closely. Did he know what he was implying? Or was he just being C/N, always pushing the boundaries?
