Three Months Later

"Sebastian! Did you order the cake?" I called to him. He was upstairs dressing the twins.

"Yes. Chocolate. Extra frosting so they can really dig in!"

Great.

Ok, cake ordered. I had their presents ready. The invitations sent. We were full on planning the twin's first birthday party. I was very excited. I made checks on my list that lay on the counter. I was feeling accomplished.

I turned to see Seb come down the stairs carrying both of them on his hips. He looked so hot with our children relaxing in his arms.

"You know that your birthday is actually first, right? Not to mention our wedding anniversary." He chuckled softly, putting them down on the floor.

"Pish tosh. My babies are far more important."

"More important than me?" He asked coming closer to pull me up onto his toes and kiss me sweetly.

"Mmm. Persuasive. Depends on the circumstances, I suppose. I'd die for you. I'd kill for my children."

"Well put, Mrs. Sallow." He smirked. "I love you." His warm chocolatey eyes were filled with adoration.

"I love you more, my dearest, sweetest, sexiest man in the world." I whispered to him.

"Mmm. Distractions." He looked over to the wall clock. "Do we have time...?"

"NO! No, we don't." I stumbled out of his hold. "We're due to meet Anne and Omi. And they'll DEFINITELY know why we're late if we show up all..."

"Satiated? Satisfied... exhausted? Or... inexplicably happy?"

I smacked his arm. "You're too much. Let's go!"

We picked up the twins and placed them in their new, larger carriage. They were quite big now. And heavy!

"Charlotte is solid. Like a brick!" I huffed out putting her down. She just smiled at me, her soft black curls flowing to her shoulders.

"I know. It's like she and Junior aren't even twins. He's heavy too, but not like her."

"Look how happy they are.... We've done well, Seb."

"I think so, too." He kissed my cheek and helped me push the carriage out of the door of our little rental and up the street.

"Anne!" I called as I could see her ahead of us, sitting by the well.

"Hi!" She called and bustled over. "Oh, look how big they're getting!" She reached down to push Charlotte's hair out of her face and then she laid a soft kiss on Junior's head.

"I know I just saw them a few days ago, but I was so used to seeing them every day that I miss them!" She cooed, tears filling her eyes.

"Anne! It's ok. Merlin, don't cry." I reached out and hugged her. "You look great, by the way!"

"Oh, thanks." She blushed a little, wiping the tears away quickly.

Omi came around the corner, carrying a basket and blankets in one hand and his blinking wand in the other. "Anyone care for a picnic?" He called.

"Omi! Good to see you." I walked over and kissed his cheek.

"Wish I could say the same, my dear." He smirked at me.

"Oh, you." I smacked his arm lightly and he chuckled.

We all made our way to the top of Hogsmeade and exited together to sit on the hill by the field with the view of the Black Lake and Hogwarts. It was spectacular! One of my favorite views.
