The cosy apartment filled with soft sunlight streaming through the windows, casting warm glows on the wooden floors.

The soft hum of the city outside was a gentle backdrop to the tranquillity inside your apartment. You sat on the couch, a book in hand, but your attention was drawn to the delicate figure curled up beside you. Haerin, your cat-like girlfriend, had found her usual spot, her head resting on your lap as she dozed off in the afternoon sun.

You couldn't help but smile as you gently brushed a strand of hair from her face. She stirred slightly, her nose twitching in a way that always reminded you of a kitten. Haerin had an uncanny ability to move with the grace and elegance of a cat, and it was one of the many things you adored about her.

"Oppa," she murmured, her voice soft and drowsy. She nuzzled closer, her warmth a comforting presence against you.

"Yes, Haerin-ah?" you replied, your hand lightly tracing patterns on her back.

She opened one eye, a playful glint shining through her sleepy expression.

"Can we get ice cream later?"

You chuckled, setting your book aside. "Of course. Anything for you."

Her eyes closed again, a small satisfied smile spreading across her lips.

"You're the best."

As she drifted back to sleep, you thought about how much she reminded you of a cat in so many ways. She was independent, yet loved cuddling up to you for warmth and comfort. She had a mysterious air about her, always keeping you on your toes, yet she was affectionate and loving in her own unique way.

As the sun began to set, casting a golden glow over the apartment, Haerin stretched languidly and sat up. She rubbed her eyes, looking adorably dishevelled.

"Oppa, Is it time for ice cream?"

You stood up smiling, offering her your hand.

"It is. Let's go."

Hand in hand, you walked to your favourite ice cream parlour. The streets were bustling with people, but with Haerin by your side, it felt like you were in your own little world. She clung to your arm, her steps light and graceful.

When you arrived, she immediately gravitated towards the display, her eyes wide with excitement.

"I want the New York Cheesecake flavour!" she declared, pointing at the vibrant yellow and brown swirls.

You laughed, ordering her choice along with your own. As you both sat on a nearby bench, enjoying your treats, you couldn't help but watch her with adoration. She ate her ice cream with the same delicate elegance, savouring each bite.

"Do I have something on my face?" she asked, noticing your gaze.

You shook your head, smiling.

"No, you're just cute."

"You're embarrassing." Her cheeks flushed a light pink, as she nudged you playfully.

You leaned in, planting a quick kiss on her nose.

"Can't help it. I love you, Haerin-ah."

Her eyes softened, and she leaned against your shoulder. "I love you too, Oppa."

As the evening sky turned shades of purple and orange, you both walked back home, Haerin occasionally stopping to admire the lights and sounds of the city. She was like a curious cat, always finding wonder in the simplest things.

Back in the apartment, she settled on the couch, curling up next to you once more. You wrapped an arm around her, pulling her close.

"Today was perfect," she whispered, her voice filled with contentment.

You kissed the top of her crown, your heart swelling with love. "Every day with you is perfect."

With Haerin in your arms, you felt a profound sense of peace. She was your cat-like girlfriend, full of mystery, grace, and an abundance of love. And you wouldn't have it any other way.
