Babying You (Kim Chaewon)

The excitement in the air is palpable as you and Chaewon step through the gates of Universal Studios Japan in Osaka. The iconic globe stands tall at the entrance, glittering in the morning sunlight. For you, it's a dream come true, sharing this magical place with Chaewon, who, despite being a few years older, often has a playful, almost childlike demeanour that makes every moment with her feel special.

Chaewon clutches your hand tightly, her eyes wide with wonder as she takes in the colourful surroundings. 

"Y/Nnie, look! It's the Minions!" She squealed, pointing at the beloved characters greeting guests near the entrance.

You chuckle, amused by her enthusiasm. 

"Do you want to go say hi?" You asked, already knowing the answer.

"Yes, please!" Chaewon nodded eagerly, practically bouncing on her toes.

You make your way to the characters, and Chaewon excitedly poses for pictures, her smile radiant. 

"Y/Nnie, come take a picture with me!" she insisted, tugging you close as you both grinned for the camera.

"Okay, one more," you laughed, wrapping an arm around her shoulders as you took another photo.

After meeting the Minions, you head toward the Wizarding World of Harry Potter. Chaewon tugs on your arm, her eyes sparkling with excitement. 

"Can we go on the Forbidden Journey ride? It's my favourite!"

"Of course, anything you want," You replied, smiling at her.

As you stand in line, Chaewon leans against you, resting her head on your shoulder. 

"I'm so happy we came here together," She murmured.

"Me too, noona. This is the perfect place for a perfect day with you," You said, wrapping an arm around her.

The ride is magical, with its enchanting scenes and thrilling moments. Chaewon giggles like a child, pointing out her favourite parts to you, who enjoy watching her as much as the ride itself.

"Y/N, did you see the dragon?" Chaewon asked, her eyes wide with excitement as you exit the ride. 

"It felt so real!"

You nod, matching her enthusiasm. 

"It was amazing! You were so brave, holding my hand the whole time."

She grins, playfully nudging you. "I wasn't scared at all. Hmph!"

Next, you wander into Jurassic Park, where Chaewon spots the popcorn stand selling the iconic dinosaur egg popcorn buckets. 

"Y/N, can we get one?" she asks, her eyes pleading with her signature smile.

"How can I say no to that face? Let's get one." You laugh softly.

You share the popcorn, with Chaewon taking a big handful and offering it to you. "Say 'ahh'," she instructs playfully.

You comply, and you both laugh, feeling the sweetness of the moment.

"This is really good," you say, taking another handful.

"It's my favourite treat here! We have to come back for more later." Chaewon nods enthusiastically.

As you continue your journey through the park, you encounter a parade along the way. Chaewon's eyes light up as she watches the floats go by, her hand tightly holding yours. "Y/N, isn't this amazing?" she asks, her voice filled with awe.

"It really is," you agree, but your eyes are on her, captivated by her happiness.

In the afternoon, you find yourselves in the Super Nintendo World, where you decide to ride Mario Kart: Koopa's Challenge. Chaewon clings to you during the ride, her screams mixing with laughter. When you get off, her hair is slightly dishevelled, and she looks at you with wide eyes.

"That was so scary but so fun!" she exclaims, her adrenaline still pumping.

You smile, brushing a strand of hair from her face. 

"You were brave, noona."

Chaewon pouts playfully. "I wasn't that scared, was I?"

"Maybe just a little. But that's okay, I am here with you." You laughed.

She giggles, leaning into you. 

"My hero." As she sneaked a small peck on your cheeks.

You decide to take a break at one of the quaint cafes, enjoying a couple of Butterbeers. Chaewon takes a sip and gets a frothy moustache, causing you to burst out laughing. 

"Chaewon, you have a little something..." You said, pointing at her lips.

She wipes it away with the back of her hand, laughing. 

"Oops! Better?"

"Much better," You said, still chuckling. 

"But it was cute." You followed up with a quick kiss on her lips, as a payback for her cheeky peck earlier. 

Chaewon sticks out her tongue playfully. 

"You're cute."

As the day begins to wind down, you make your way to a spot near the lagoon to watch the evening show, Universal Spectacle Night Parade. Chaewon snuggles close to you, wrapping her arms around your waist. 

"This has been the best day ever," She whispered, looking up at you with a content smile.

"I'm glad you enjoyed it," You replied, kissing her crown. 

"I wouldn't want to be anywhere else but here with you."

The parade begins, illuminating the night with vibrant colours and incredible floats. Chaewon watches in awe, her eyes reflecting the bursts of light. You can't help but watch her instead, your heart full of love.

"Y/N, thank you for today," Chaewon said softly, her sight never leaving the parade. 

"I know I'm older, but sometimes I feel like a little baby around you."

You smile, cupping her face gently. 

"That's what I loved about you, noona. Your playful spirit makes everything brighter. And I wouldn't want you any other way. I'd love to baby you forever."

Chaewon blushes, her eyes glistening with emotion. 

"I love you, Y/N."

"I love you too, noona," you replied, leaning in to kiss her softly, the magic of the moment enveloping you both.

When you finally pull apart, you chuckle. 

"I can't believe it took us this long."

Chaewon laughs softly, her eyes sparkling in the moonlight. 

"Better late than never, right?"

"Definitely," you agree, your thumb gently caressing the back of her hand. 

"So, how about we make this a tradition? A yearly trip to Universal Studios?"

"I'd love that," Chaewon replies, her smile radiant. 

"As long as I'm with you, every trip will be perfect."

As you stand there, the world around you seems to fade away, leaving only the two of you under the starry sky. The sweet taste of love lingers in the air, a promise of new beginnings and shared dreams. In that moment, under the twinkling stars and the vibrant parade, you know that this is just the start of something beautiful, a love story that will unfold with every passing day, bringing you closer together with each new chapter.

Hand in hand, you walk back through the park, the magic of Universal Studios wrapping around you like a warm embrace. Chaewon looks up at you, her eyes filled with affection. 

"I can't wait for all our adventures together, Y/N."

"Me neither, Chaewon," you reply, your heart swelling with love. "Here's to many more magical days with you."

And as you leave the park, the night sky above you shimmering with stars, you know that your love is the greatest adventure of all.
