It was a crisp autumn day at the University of Melbourne, and I could feel my heart pounding as I stood outside the administration building. This wasn't just any day—I had been assigned the task of showing around an exchange student. But not just any exchange student—Baek Jiheon, the member from Fromis 9.

I could hardly believe it when I read the email that morning. As a first-year student, I had never expected something like this. Being a fan of Fromis 9, I knew all about Jiheon's charm and talent, and now I was about to meet her in person. My nerves were kicking into overdrive.

Just as I was about to check my phone again for the time, I heard a soft voice call out.

"Hi hi~~~ Are you Y/N?"

I turned around, and there she was—Baek Jiheon, standing right in front of me. She looked as radiant in person as she did on stage. Her brown hair fluttered lightly in the breeze, and her warm smile instantly put me at ease.

"Yeah, that's me," I replied, trying to sound as casual as possible.

"You must be Jiheon?"

She nodded, her eyes glimmering with excitement as she looked around the campus.

"Yes, thank you for showing me around today. This is actually my first time in Australia, so everything's really new to me."

"No problem," I said, gesturing for her to follow me.

"I'll show you the main spots on campus, and maybe after, we can grab something to eat if you're up for it."

Her eyes brightened at the mention of food.

"I'd love that! I've heard Melbourne has really good food and coffee."

As we started our tour, walking through the campus, I pointed out the important buildings—the library, lecture halls, and student cafes. Jiheon followed closely, occasionally asking questions and taking in everything with wide-eyed wonder.

"So, how does it feel to be in Melbourne?" I asked as we passed through a sunlit courtyard.

Jiheon smiled, looking around thoughtfully.

"Hmm, it's really nice here. Everything feels so relaxed compared to Seoul," she exclaimed.

"I think I'm going to enjoy my time here."

I smiled at that, feeling a sense of relief that she was enjoying the campus.

"Yeah, it's a pretty chill place. You're here for just one semester, right?"

She nodded, her expression turning a little wistful. "Yeah, just one semester. It's my last year, so I wanted to do something different before graduating. But I'm still part of Fromis 9, so I'll have to go back to Korea after this."

The mention of her being an idol felt surreal. Here she was, walking around campus with me, just like any other student. But I couldn't ignore the fact that she had a whole different life waiting for her back in Korea.

As we walked through South Lawn, where students lounged on the grass, I couldn't help but glance at her from time to time. Jiheon wasn't just beautiful; she had this down-to-earth aura that made everything feel so easy.

"You know, I still can't believe I'm actually here," Jiheon said, stopping for a moment to take in the view of the city skyline in the distance.

"Being an idol means my life is usually so busy, always moving from one schedule to the next. It's nice to just... breathe for a bit."

"I can imagine," I said, nodding. "It must be pretty intense. But it's cool that you get to have this experience, even if it's just for a few months."

Jiheon turned to me, her eyes softening. "Yeah, it is. I'm glad I get to experience something like this before things get even busier."

We continued walking, and as the tour came to an end, we found ourselves at one of the campus cafes. The smell of coffee filled the air, and Jiheon's eyes lit up as she took in the sight of the cosy little spot.

"Let's get some coffee," she suggested, and I couldn't help but smile at how excited she seemed.

After ordering lattes and a few pastries, we sat down at a small table near the window, the sunlight streaming in gently. As we chatted, the conversation flowed easily. We talked about music, her life as an idol, and my experiences as a first-year student. Despite the difference in our lives, it felt like we were just two friends enjoying a quiet afternoon together.

"Do you ever miss the normal college experience?" I asked, genuinely curious.

Jiheon took a sip of her coffee, her gaze thoughtful.

"Sometimes. But I love what I do, and I wouldn't trade it for anything. Being on stage, making music with the girls, meeting fans—it's all worth it. But moments like this... I think they're important too."

I nodded, understanding what she meant. There was a quiet beauty to the ordinary moments, especially for someone like her who lived in the spotlight.

As the conversation shifted, we laughed about the small things, like how she struggled with some of the Australian slang and how I couldn't pronounce half the names of Korean food properly. Jiheon's laugh was infectious, and I found myself wanting to make her laugh more.

By the time we finished our coffee, the sun had started to set, casting a golden glow across the campus. We walked back toward the administration building, where we had started the tour, and Jiheon stopped for a moment.

"Thank you for today, Y/N. I know it was just a simple campus tour, but I really had a lot of fun."

I smiled, feeling my heart flutter a little at her sincerity.

"I'm glad you enjoyed it. Maybe we can do this again sometime?"

Jiheon's eyes sparkled with amusement. "I'd like that. But next time, I'll show you around—a proper Korean food tour. Deal?"

"Deal," I said, grinning.

As we stood there, the city lights beginning to flicker on in the background, it felt like something special had just begun. And even though I knew Jiheon would eventually have to return to Korea, for now, in this quiet moment in Melbourne, I was happy.
