"Jagii! I'm home!"

Jeongin's tired voice echoed slightly across the living room as he dropped his bag on the couch.

Jeongin frowned when he saw no one but Kkami there, all curled up in a ball on the couch. Hyunjin texted him saying he would be home early due to his professor being sick so Jeongin was extremely excited he could spend more time with his boyfriend.

These past few weeks, Jeongin had been really worn out, especially since his finals were coming up and he had to work extra hard. Despite his exhaustion, he didn't tell Hyunjin, concealing his tiredness with a smile or a laugh.

He knew that the elder was busy since his finals were also coming up so he didn't want to bother the elder by telling him about what he was feeling since he thought it didn't really matter anyways.

But today was an extra shitty day and Jeongin wanted nothing more than to see his boyfriend at the moment.

Today he came in 5 minutes late to his first period which resulted in his teacher scolding him in front of the whole class. To make matters worst, he forgot to turn in his assignment the day prior, making the teacher think he hadn't done the assignment  even though he spent all night making it.

In the middle of the class, someone also accidentally spilled their hot tea onto Jeongin's sweater which made him have to walk around with a stain on his favorite piece of clothing throughout the day.

And if Jeongin was honest, he would've burst into tears of frustration if it weren't for the text Hyunjin sent that day which said, 'You got this jagiii! FIGHTING 💆🏻‍♂️'

Thinking about the text throughout the day, Jeongin managed to make it through the day without a mental breakdown. Even when his headphone's battery died, or when he accidentally got a papercut and accidently pit jand sanitizer on it, or so when he gave too little money to the canteen lady and ended up giving too much money next, Jeongin only smiled through the pain, hoping that the end of the day would come faster so he could cuddle with his boyfriend back at home.

Hearing no response from his beloved, Jeongin sighed and walked towards their shared room. He wanted, no, needed a hug right now, and who gives the best hugs other than his Hyunjin?

Without knocking, Jeongin opened the door and saw Hyunjin, the elder's back facing him, sitting at the table with a pair of headphones in.

Jeongim gave a small chuckle, the mere sight of his boyfriend instantly lifting his mood up. 'So that's why he couldn't hear me earlier."

With a mischievous grin on his face, Jeongin carefully stepped towards Hyunjin, who seemed to be ever so focused on whatever he was doing right now, and planned on surprising the elder.

"Boo!" Jeongin placed his hand on Hyunjin's shoulders and lowered his head to the side of Hyunjin's face so he could see the other's reaction.

Hyunjin gave a startled yelp and looked at Hyunjin with a scared look, one that quickly changed into a happy expression when he saw who it was.

"Hello to you to, love." Hyunjin chuckled, taking off his headphones so he could hear the younger.

Jeongin giggled, "Sorry, it was an amazing opportunity to scare you, I couldn't resist."

Jeongin then proceeded to open his arms wide, wanting a hug from the elder. Hyunjin smiled at the younger, immediately standing up and wrapping his arms around Jeongin's waist.
